First time here—and wow, what a hidden gem! This place serves up true home-cooked goodness that hits the spot. Every bite was hot, flavorful, and comforting—just like grandma’s kitchen (if grandma had a restaurant license). Portions? Massive. They definitely don’t hold back. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in. Your taste buds will thank you.
Terrific place to get a nice place lunch. Excellent customer service. Friendly greeting upon entering. Good food! Plenty of main courses, and lots of sides to choose from. Good price.
We are here after a service at the nearby Veterans Cemetery and it was exactly what we needed - comfort food served by caring people. The hamburger steak was delicious with rice and brown gravy. The black eyed peas were perfectly seasoned and the turnip greens were very good. The staff were welcoming and made sure we were well taken care of. Would definitely go back if I’m in the area again.
