It was a great experience and the food was great and our waitress was great a young lady named Mary ask for her if you go to the restaurant

We usually enjoy eating here. Today might have been the last time. Service was very slow despite not being very busy (multiple tables empty inside and outside). Our server was not attentive and my husband had to find someone else for a refill after waiting 20 minutes. After that she brought two refills for two of the 6 of us but didn't even ask the other people if they needed one. The Gris Gris oysters were delicious. It took about 20 minutes for them to come out and at least 30 minutes more after them for entrees. My 5 yr old was in tears he was so hungry. My crabcake BLT was good. The kid's meals also good. Unfortunately they were the cheapest items ordered. The Coastal West Indies salad has fresh crabmeat as the first ingredient listed. The only single piece crab to be found was the size of a pencil eraser. The shrimp were tiny and not cleaned. Two ordered the surf & turf benedicts. They both came out stone cold. The grits has solidified to the point they could be stabbed with a fork and picked up out of the bowl. My husband immediately spotted a hair in his food and it was taken off to be remade. The rest of us were done eating by the time it came out and it was cold. Again. My FIL ordered two cocktails that we didn't receive until after the meal AND they only remembered to make one. When he went to find the manager to discuss his lackluster salad, the manager said that there was nothing he could do because "the shrimp come to us like that." He also knew about the hair because he was the one to take the plate back. The cocktails were comped. They offered to make something else but we declined because it was have taken up even more time. It would have been less egregious if it had just been slow or had just been one hair or had just been cold. But all these issues at once made for an awful experience all around.

Food , drinks,service and atmosphere (bayou view ) are tops. Bacchus is our go to place for a good time. The bartenders and all the wait staff kare friendly.

Service was very slow, and they were not crowded. I got the West Indies salad. The crabmeat was not lump. It was pasteurized claw (maybe, hard to tell it was so minced). Salad was small, especially for the price. My friend got the pork chop, and it seemed a little undercooked. Later, she got ill. So our experience was not good.

Great food in an outdoor setting on the water at sunset. I highly recommend Bacchus for the food, service and the ability to bring a great dining companion (our dog Lennox). I ordered the Pireaux -- a petit filet, crab cake and shrimp over mashed potatoes surrounded by gris gris sauce. Definitely a winner in my book.

Good food good happy hour 1pm to 7pm...half price apps.
Maybe everyone high on oyster items now in grocery stores was .95 cents to 1.00 hadn't check..but everthing they have is good,I like put a 4 because need try yourselves, the things I've eaten could be done to me better from a good southern cook or chefs...like sweet cornbread, sweet turnip greens...not way most grand ma cooks..more ginger no sugar...no sugar in corn bread...

Me and my wife went here for my Birthday. We sat at our table of 2 for over 10 minutes with no acknowledgment from anyone. An older couple was sat next to us and was immediately taken care of by a server. When I brought it to the manager’s attention he didn’t seem to care. Thanks for the great Birthday dinner.

Eat here a couple times a month. Banana Flambe bread pudding with ice cream is sooo good! Love it all! There is a boat dock if you are commuting by boat. Beautiful sunsets here. Highly recommend this gem!
