Absolutely loving this new coffee spot! I had the prettiest baklava latte and a coconut pandan latte—hands down the best coffee I’ve had on the coast. The baristas are so friendly, and the atmosphere is incredibly calming—it seriously felt like I was in another country for the afternoon. Perfect place to knock out some remote work with a client, and we soaked up the beautiful outdoor seating too. Can’t wait to go back!
Made the mistake here of briskly approaching the counter as if I knew what I wanted, or even their menu, on my first visit. No worries! The baristas right away asked if I knew what I wanted or needed ideas, smoothly segueing into delicious creative options. I went with my usual lavender component added into staff suggestion of the mint espresso. Common Ground Project in Ocean Springs is a delightful spot that brings together the best of local and international flavors. I tried the Ube Latte, which was perfectly creamy and rich, paired with a strawberry muffin from Dropout Bakery and Co. in Mobile, AL. The fact that the Common Ground staff goes the extra mile—literally—to bring these sweet treats from Mobile shows their dedication to quality.
