Great place. Only issue was it was so crowded, the staff was overwhelmed so it took way to long to get service.

The Mahi-mahi sandwich was a big chunk of fish, and we also really enjoyed the pan seared speckled trout, which had a good spice to it.

Tried Bayou dockside for the first time this weekend. This is the first time my husband and I have opposite opinions. First off, atmosphere was pleasant with a great view and out door seating. Our server was excellent both friendly and attentive. We were there as part of a larger party, and no one had any issues with either of those areas. It was unfortunate that the restaurant was out of quite a bit of menu items, but that Isn't a negative as it showed they were busy Saturday and that certain things are popular.
My husband loved the shrimp and grits and moscow mule he ordered. He said the seasoning was good and portion size perfect.
Myself, on the other hand, was disappointed. I ordered the blueberry mojito which tasted almost completely like soda water. I also ordered the royal reds which came out after everyone else had gotten their food and started eating. The shrimp were very overcooked difficult to peel and mushy as was the corn. 2 other members at the table ordered the same and mentioned the same problem. Seasoning was good however.
We never base our overall opinion on just one experience and will definitely be visiting again for another try.

We found this restaurant through Google Maps while in the area. We have learned to not judge a place by the outside appearance. This was a very good find. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

Great local bar and restaurant. Live music with great local band, karaoke and other events. Can be reached also by boat with free docking. The staff is very attentive and professional. The food is good and plenty of bar selection. Very entertaining. Safe for family. They do have birthday parties. Plenty of seating.

I love this restaurant in our neighborhood. It’s such a great place to take visitors to to show them why we love the Mississippi Gulf Coast. They can look out over the Bayou and drink A cold beer And receive some great service. The food is fantastic too. You definitely wouldn’t expect this from what seems like a hole in the wall restaurant. If you haven’t tried it yet should give it a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a gem!!! We stopped by this place twice, it was the very first place we ate in Mississippi and we loved it so much we made sure it was our last. Love music nights are fun, but I love the laid back bayou feel when it's just a normal night. The waitress here are absolutely dolls, everyone of these ladies is wonderful.

My friend told me the other night some waitresses here act rude to their customers and make up lies about things that they didn't say. The environment creates a kind of tension that you don't get at other places. They judge and misconcept people based off of things that they believe to be true whilst starting drama and not diffusing it from the source of the tension (their employees). If someone says something about the customer and it was wrong/rude. The customer should be allowed to defend their word and themselves. The employee is the one that has set rules in place and guidelines on how they should behave, and to have an employee talk down on a customer while the staff defends it and even laughs about it is beyond my thought compacity. Find a different bar and stick to it.
