I’ve intended to try this place for a while. I didn’t think I could expect much, given the lack of thought that went into the name “Jalapeno”. The chairs are two sided. My chair rose up and down like a sea saw. Two inches lifted, two inches dropped. Over and over due to the person sitting on the other side. Like a carnival ride. So I quietly moved myself to another table only to find the table was unstable and likely to fall over. I kindly left and politely suggested they buy new chairs and tables. I didn’t get a chance to try the food. The sweet tea was good. I did like the atmosphere. I’m not returning. The salsa was so watered down! Why even serve that? The salsa was so watered down, it doesn’t really coat the chips. The salsa, the name, and the furniture! Just ridiculous.

Visited from out of town. Everything is great here. The food, the service, and the esthetics. The menu has lots of choices and the prices can't be beat. Would go back here, loved it!

Food was pretty good and quick to the table. Our waiter was extremely helpful and familiar with the menu. The service we got was top notch and he kept our glasses full and food fresh. Great suggestions and explanations of the Menu.

After 9 hours of travel, we decided to stay close to our hotel just off I-10 so decided to try Jalapeño Grill. Not only was the food extremely flavorful , but the portions were great & the value the best we’ve seen in a long while! We eat out at least 4 times a week & wish we could eat here versus just passing thru. Great fresh made salsa, warm chips, flavorful refried beans & rice as well. Loved their pico de gallo, but with the name Jalapeño Grill, they do have more heat than the average restaurant place

I arrived here after a trip from their beach, and honestly, this is one of the places where food and money go hand in hand. Why? Because their prices were good, and the food was HUGE. Ordering a torta, I expected something similar to a half-long sandwich from Subway, yet quite the contrary, I was encountered with a torta bigger than a foot-long sandwich from Subway. The quesadilla was also good both their beefs were tasty and soft in terms of taste. The drinks were quite another shocker I ordered a tamarindo and expected a regular cup and NO, I was wrong the cup was another huge yet the taste was also amazing considering that other restaurants' tamarindos do come out differently. Apart from that only side note is that if you ordered instant coffee be prepared to pay $1 extra for a coffee refill as they are not free.
