We've been served by the couple who owns it on occasion when their employees needed time off. i like businesses that take care of their people. My husband and I ate here while on our 35th anniversary celebration trip. Our goal was to eat at only home-owned and operated, and this restaurant fit that description.
Our server was extremely nice and helpful.
My husband got an omelet, and I got blackened shrimp. It was all good, and we were very pleased with it overall.
Stopped by because we wanted some local, southern cooking. Totally blown away by the food, service and atmosphere; friendly, very friendly and super very friendly. The chicken fried chicken, the gravy, hush puppies, potato salad, coleslaw - all excellent. The owners are there all the time and definitely add to the charm and friendliness of the place as they care and make sure you have the best dining experience possible.
If you want to feel like you’re in the south, on the coast and right at home THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Tried them tonight for the first time and not only was the food incredible but Lisa our server was so friendly and sweet. Helped us navigate the extensive menu and had amazing energy the whole time! 100/10 recommend, it is the perfect Family restaurant and I look forward to eating there again soon!

Stopped in for lunch, and found they had some.reallyngreat comfort food available. I ordered chicken fried steak with gravy, green beans and mashed potatoes. It was delicious! Hubby enjoyed the fried oyster salad. Unfortunately, our visit was interrupted by the kitchen's grill hood breaking down so the place got pretty smoky, (hence the 3 stars for "atmosphere") and backed up some burger orders. The waitress handled it well, ensuring those customer waiting for their food that there would be a delay and offering other menu options to avoid their wait. I would go again, as they had quite a nice variety of choices on their menu.
