I honestly can’t believe this place has such good reviews. The food was terrible. Our table had the veal t-bone, pork chop, lamb, and filet mignon. There was not one thing that I would go back for. Service was good and had a nice ambiance but food was awful.

It was a wonderful experience for my wife's birthday! The waitress was especially enjoyable! We have never had a bad experience at Maison de Lu

Had crabcakes that were amazing for an appetizer. Had a very high expectations for the entrée. My wife's got a filet that had no flavor except for the char on the outside. I had a ribeye that was the same except it was super dry. I sent it back. Got a new one that was cooked, tender and juicy, but still had no flavor except for the heavy char on the outside. First time in 20 years I've asked for A1 steak sauce.

This place was slammed! And they absolutely crushed it! The levels of food and service reached were impressive! Wine list was great. He adaptation Cabernet was phenomenal (great suggestion by their bartender) with my hanger steak! Best bread pudding I've ever had!

This place is so charming, and the food was outstanding. We had the fresh Cobia which was magnificent. The fried crab claws were also fantastic--light, fried perfectly and so yummy and plump. (The "sauteed" claws are covered with some "gravy" so we don't recommend--too messy.) We were helped by a cool bartender and Heather who was just lovely and another young lady who was not quite so attentive. We were seated on the patio which was romantic and the heaters and fireplace made it perfect even in cool weather. If you want big buzz, then sit at the bar. It was happening--but loud. Pick what suits your mood. If you get a chance to go here, make a reservation. It's just a great place! We'd love to go back!!

Our group of 4 visited for our first, and most definitely NOT our last, dining experience! The food, outdoor courtyard, service, Southern Hospitality, wine selection and location are brilliant! The absolute BEST dining experience on the Gulf Coast! If you are not dining here, you’ve made a huge mistake! Impeccable experience!!!! Looking forward to our next dinner.

Been here twice. First visit, on a slow weekday in October, sat outside, beautiful weather, & we both got the salad with 2 fried apple rings that were delicious!! Decided to go back on the Sat of the arts & crafts festival, Oct 8th, and it was the wrong time to go! Restaurant was packed, whole outside lined up with people buying alcoholic drinks, floor all wet, & hard to get in. After being seated, we ordered & got our salads, which were half the size of what they were the 1st time, with only ONE apple ring. When we asked about this, a young woman said it was because of the volume of crowd they were trying to serve, so i asked why they weren't compensating a little on the price? She didn't like that, & said she'd see what she could do. Twenty minutes later, she came by with 2 fried apple rings, swiftly threw them on the table, never looked or said a word, then ran off. She was so rude about it, it was awful! I hope if we go back, we never get HER for service!!!

Goodness, we love this place. Even during one of their busiest weekends, the staff all appear to be genuinely happy to be there. The food is superb and the atmosphere is amazing. I will always and forever praise this wonderful group of people and this special place!

We made reservations and were pretty bummed to be seated by the swing out kitchen door. After asking server we were moved. Our server ended up being so attentive and normally works days. We were there at 6pm and she was very busy! Food- shrimp dujour with Caesar salad was comforting. Shrimp delicious and flavorful. My daughter had pork chop and doubled baked cauliflower. Both were very good. Next trip I would opt for outside porch seating. The setting is very rustic antebellum on a very small scale. I'd come again

Our dinner tonight on Halloween was wonderful. Steaks and fish perfectly cooked and favorable. Our server Arthur was attentive and friendly. Other staff also very good. A delightful evening. Goat cheese torte, cous cous and deserts so tasty!

We met with the owner Ryan in the spring of 25 while shopping for a wedding venue. It was perfect, the service and food was exceptional, the attention to detail, and the atmosphere perfection. There are no fake architectural details, it is simple, timeless, and a great location for personalization as much or little as your preferences reside. We held our micro wedding a few weeks ago, the dedicated server was in front of every detail and made the whole day go perfectly. We cannot recommend enough if you are seeking a perfect space for your next event. Our highlights: Excellence in service from planning to execution throughout our wedding Personalized menus Food quality and Value

This restaurant truly is five stars! Consistently delicious entrées paired with delightful cocktails. The service staff is the best you will find on our coast. If you are in the area don't miss out on this dining experience!
