Not only was the food phenomenal but the service and the drinks were AMAZING!!! When in Ocean Springs this is a must go to for an unforgettable dining experience. Our server Arthur was the absolute best!!!! Highly recommend reservations 🥰
Listed as a French restaurant but they're not. They don't even have French onion soup. Escargot was buried in a shiitake mushroom and covered with goat cheese. Served with pita bread. I had lamb chops and decided not to have the sauce. They had tzatziki sauce as the special with the chops. That's definitely not French. The place is beautiful as it's an old converted house but the food is not what you'd expect. Service was mediocre.
There are numerous fine restaurants to enjoy if you are walking or exploring the heart of the Ocean Springs business district downtown, but there is none that exceeds Maison de Lu on Washington Avenue. The food is consistently excellent, as is the service. And their bartender Jose is superb. Whether you want to sit at the bar, or have a romantic dinner out by the courtyard fireplace, or you want to laugh with a group at a table inside, you'll have a great night out at Maison...
