We got to the restaurant right after it opened so it was not busy at all. My daughter got the prime brisket quesadilla and I got the Wagyu burger. My daughter’s quesadilla was really good, a little on the spicy side though. However, my burger tasted like it came from a ballpark. I have never eaten wagyu before but have been told how good it is, and I was very disappointed it was dry, and the outside was almost burnt. I did ask for my burger to be well done meaning, I did not want any pink inside, but I did not need for it to be a hockey puck either. I tried adding more condiments, then just removing it from the bread finally I just gave up and ate my fries. Our waitress was very attentive. However, no one really ask how the food tasted and I’m not one to really cause a scene nor do I usually write reviews. I just felt that this deserved one this time.
Went during a period of time that was not busy. The menu was not so full you had to turn pages to see the choices. The blackened Shrimp Nachos were delicious. My son got Royal Red Shrimp which I will get next time. Hollies, our waitress was friendly and attentive. Only thing I wish would change is for the waitresses to announce the specials on the blackboard which I didn't see until leaving because it was not on the menu and I would have gotten it instead. But I will return.
Visited here with family for lunch. They offer a good mixture of Mexican seafood dishes and some barbecue fusion dishes. We were able to find something everyone enjoyed eating. We had fish tacos, brisket tacos, nachos, chimichangas, and the shrimp sandwich. All the food was solid and everyone left satisfied.
Food is just fine - expect the cooks to dump salt on your food instead of trying to get any flavor otherwise. Chicken on tacos was very over cooked. Service is slow even when empty. Games outside are either filthy or broken (see picture). Only added a second star for the view of the bayou and the nice fans outside.
Currently sitting in one of the most enjoyable atmospheres I have ever been in at a restaurant. Beautiful sea air. Kids playing corn hole, damn good music (live) everything going really well when the waitress walked up and hastefully told us the kitchen would be closing in 15 minutes ( we called ahead and was told it closes at 10, was only 9:00 ) saying if we wanted to eat we needed to get our orders in and walked away. Appetizers came out with food, but let me tell you something. The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. There was also another team member who came up later and apologized making the night much better, over all had a wonderful time less the seemingly moody waitress.
It was a great view. The food was good but think it could have been better. Had the blackened redfish with the crawfish sauce on the side. The fish seasoning was a little too salty but it wasn’t over cooked. The sauce was really good.
A relatively new place so we stopped by to check it out. We ate outside at the bar. Our waitress was phenomenal, the drinks were absolutely on point and I would venture to say.. they gave me the best seasoned Royal Reds I have ever had. The view wasn't lacking either! We will definitely return.Second visit to this location was just as grand as the first. We highly recommend this restaurant! You will not be disappointed. I also want to give a well deserved shout out to our bartender. Even with a large crowd at the outside bar she never wavered. Fabulous job! This may be our new regular spot after a day on the water.Third visit...service was still fantastic! This time I tried something new...Cantina Shrimp Tacos...Holy cow! They pack a punch
We came for a late lunch for three and were seated quickly. The facility is new and very clean and well decorated. Inside there are two bars and a third outside on the back deck. It has an expansive outdoor dining area which is partially covered and all open air with a water view. We shared some guacamole and had the royal reds, shrimp tacos, a mahi sandwich and a side salad. All dishes were well presented and delicious. I requested extra spicy on the royal reds and they were cooked perfectly and WERE spicy. Drinks were served in the plastic cups so they stayed cold about a minute. Other than that a delightful place for a lunch, dinner or just to stop in for a margarita. It has a laid back vibe and the food service was great. Drinks were quickly served, our server was friendly and knowledgeable. I would fully recommend for anyone and will be going back myself if we visit again.Urban CowgillJune 2022
The food here is pretty good. Whenever I visit a place that sells royal reds i tend to get them. They didn't disappoint. I think the view here is what most people come for. I didn't get a chance to take any outside pictures but I'm sure I will get to next time.
I have heard mixed reviews and wanted to try this place for myself. The food was mediocre, but the environment was great. The food descriptions on the menu don’t have all details of what’s on the items. It was a surprise when receiving your food and there’s something there that you didn’t want. Seafood bread was the best thing we ordered. Nachos were dry and lacked toppings. The tacos were mostly lettuce. I had the fried shrimp tacos. Shrimp were small and very much over cooked. We were told that the daytime kitchen isn’t very good and that the nighttime staff was better. I may or may not come back, although I do believe in second chances.

The view. It is great. Crayfish were way too over cooked. Mushy. Forgot our food. The deck design is like a gigantic baby and child crib. Gobs of children. Diapers and pacifiers kind of babies. Screaming babies. It looks like a preschool camp. The server had to take back a fish. The remake of the fish never came out. Expensive. Drinks and shrimp tacos was 77 dollars.
Incredible outdoor area. Dog friendly. STREET CORN IS AWESOME!!!!! Tacos are solid. Live music was great. Highly recommended.
My best friend and I went last night around 7. The parking lot was packed and we expected a long wait. We were seated immediately. We both got drinks and loved them. We shared the brisket nachos and it was plenty for us as our meal. It was delicious. We were planning out next visit while we were still sitting at the table. Our waitress was also amazing. She was so friendly and checked on us frequently to make sure we were taken care of. I would definitely recommend eating and drinking here. We will be back soon!
