the food was not at all as good as it used to be. the raw oysters were ok but you had to ask for french bread to go with it.BUT . the place was nasty! Everything looked old, worn out and unclean. No paper towels in ladies restroom !Everything was very bad..except for the service at the table..She was good.Coming in the entrance there was only 2 little girls at the desk.Very bad situation..Won't be going back there.

My late father's favorite place to eat. Went to celebrate his birthday and the oysters were on point. The server was great and was so nice to my son which is major bonus points.

The oyster po'boy was very good. I have no complaints about the quality of the food or the service. What really turned me off: as I was sitting there waiting for my change, an employee who was wiping the table, across the aisle and dropped the dish towel on the floor. He picked it up and proceeded to wipe that table and then went outsidevand wiped several more tables. Ugh!!!!!

My husband and I spent two nights in Ocean Springs, MS October 22 - 23, 2020. The first day for lunch we chose to eat at Mikey's because it was close by. The food was so good that we ate at Mikey's again the next day! We also enjoyed sitting on the porch outside right by the water. An added treat on the 1st day was watching a gentleman cleaning fish below us. He threw the scraps in the water, and the pelicans put on quite a show catching the scraps!

The entrees are very good. Sides like red beans&rice need more spice, cabbage was sort of bland. The daily special ($7.50) is always good.

I really loved this place. I had raw oysters and the seafood bread which was awesome. We ate on the back deck overlooking the water which was nice. The prices are really competitive. My only problem was, I didn't care to share with the flies. They were loving the food & ambiance as well. There were a couple of pelicans sitting on a picnic table on the lower level. I was worried that they might try to come get a bite or two but they were way too into each other to pay us any mind... :)

Very disappointed, because this is the type of hole in the wall place I typically love. While the view is fantastic, the rest of the experience is no-frills, to say the least. Nothing wrong with that, but that just raises the expectations for me that I've found a hidden gem- that local joint that isn't overcrowded and overexposed but has fantastic food and some local charm. That's really not what you'll get at Mikey's, though. The food is somewhere between average and the culinary Mendoza Line, as is the service which is just too slow to justify a cheap stop for lunch. The prices aren't out of line, but with a product that leaves you disappointed, the value simply isn't there. All that being said, the place has potential. A menu revamp and stronger management could turn this place into an area landmark.

The first thing we noticed after entering was the bad smell, but we decided to stay. The Charbroiled Oysters were fresh, but came out after our main courses. They were our appetizer. The waitress said they take longer to cook. NO! Other restaurants get them out before the main course. Anyway, the crawfish were good and the fried shrimp were amazing. After our meal, we had to ask another waitress to find our waitress so we could pay the check. Won't recommend or be back.

Excellent on our 2nd Visit!!! We enjoyed Miley's so much on our last visit that we decided to invest in an Uber ride over to the restaurant. We asked to sit outside on the deck with the beautiful marsh view!!!! We saw several boats come by and many stopped to eat at the restaurant!!! The charbroiled oysters and shrimp and oyster po-boys were so tasty!!! Try it!!!

We had a party of 7 and overall our experience was as simply average. The seafood bread appetizer was amazing and recommended. And the oysters on the half shell was also very good. But everything else just wasn’t that good. The restaurant itself was small and quaint and wanted to love it, but there was food on the floor under our chairs and the table was sticky. The waitress acted like she didn’t know the menu at all and when asked if she was new she indicated she had been there a long time but was not able to answer any questions about the food options. If you want appetizers and oysters, highly recommend but can’t recommend anything else.

Moved here a couple months ago and try to make this place a bi-weekly stop. They have great seats outside. Oysters are freaking amazing and they have a seafood platter that is perfect for the table to share. This place is for sure not going to disappoint you....

Such a disappointment. Food was barely mediocre. And way over priced. Fries were cold. Poboys were dry. We were told they had no idea where the catfish came from and the waitress “thinks the shrimp is probably from the gulf”. The table was dripping water into our laps and mice/rats were running around in the outdoor dining area. Will not be returning.

The food is mediocre at best. And very over priced. Our fries were cold and poboys were dry. The table they sat us at had clearly been hosed down with a water hose as there were still pools of water all over it, dripping off the sides into our laps. Mice were running around on the porch. I won’t be back.
