Im going to start with an apology because I've lived here for 3 years and I never stopped by I was welcomed by the owner and it felt like I was back living with my grandparents which made me feel right at home. the customer service is absolutely amazing and the owner was very attentive to everyone in the restaurant. She made sure to speak to everyone and to make sure everything came out good. I ordered the Catfish strips, rice and gravy, and Mac and cheese. None of the food came out salty and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything is homemade and made with love. I love the vibes from everyone and I loved the feeling like I was home again. Yall will see me again!

Delicious chicken wings. Very meaty and made with love, as was the fried okra. Generous portions. Banana pudding and lemonade came with my meal and we're both very good . Super friendly and down-to-earth folks. I highly recommend.

Amazing service and delicious food. The collards, green beans, and dirty rice were yummy! My colleagues said that the fried and smothered pork chops were deli. in your meal price. I will be back!

Vegetarian options: They don't cook with pork, but food was rightly seasoned!

I Took a Chance And Drove 45 Min To Get Here And Everything Was SPOT ON The Young Lady Up front Was So Welcoming I Was Blindly Driving Looking for Some Good food And Lord Me And My Son Barely Drove Out the Parking Lot The entire Plate Was Hot fresh And Made With PURE Love That Sunday Meal Your Granny Or Mama Makes that Puts Spirit in Good Place I Had Smothered Pork Chops Rice Mac & Cheese,Cornbread & Collard Greens I Wish It was Closer to Me but definitely Worth the Drive I been Ranting and Raving to Any & Everyone Everything was Absolutely Amazing Portions are enough for 2 it includes a Drink W/ Dessert for $20 Take My Money Plus A Tip 😂😊 I’ll For sure be Back Soon this time I Gotta bring Witnesses Lol

A real hole in the wall place. Emphasis on hole. Limited menue and items only available on the day of the week they are cooked! Drove by it a couple of times because couldn't tell what it was!!! Miniscule sign on front by door. Best description Ghost Kitchen!!!

Parking: Parking full of holes and big ones!! Not going back. I'm sure somebody will like it, just not me. You would have to see it in Real life to understand!

Wheelchair accessibility: At best you would have to have someone pull you through the door! Problematic with the potholes in lot. And if it rains, they are full of water!

This place was spoken highly of so I tried it the food was good but the server should have left her attitude at home on the dresser with the pocket change first the place was a warm so we mentioned that it was a little warm so she tried to be little us by ask us do we know about windows because the front is glass but I guess she didn’t recognize that it was cloudy outside and it was raining lightly so she goes to the kitchen then comes back to the table and say that the owner said that we didn’t have to stay we could take our food to go if it was ti warm for us, so after eating and I was paying I gave her cash she looks at my money and start to put some bills on down saying that a $5 bill wasn’t real and a few dollars weren’t real the $5 bill didn’t have the seal and the ones were to soft and did I have a card so confused at this time I used another form of payment so then the guy was done the same way with a $5 bill so he was trying to get an understanding why it wasn’t real she then says I don’t have time to argue so she gets the owner the owner shows him the seal the girl was referring to from a $5 out the register so he pulls out the $5 that she says wasn’t real the owner said that one is real he said this the $5 she said wasn’t real so then I show her my $5 bill the owner said that one is real I said she said it wasn’t and that my ones were to soft again the food was good and it was plenty of it we felt insulted one thing I left out when she thought she was talking down on us we are 3 Certified Licensed Builders from Jackson Ms down there to do a full remodel on a Historical Home and we were on lunch but I’ll never eat there again

So, my husband just brought this home to us for Dinner. Let me tell you that everything was absolutely delicious, completely on point with everything soul food should be. We had the fried pork chops, smothered pork chops, meatloaf, mac & cheese, greens, and fried okra. Everything was seasoned for the gods; excellent cooking. I didn’t get to try the meatloaf sadly, but when you know what you’re looking at you know when meatloaf is legit and that stuff looked right. The butter peas I had that were seasoned with ham and bay leaves. They were so delicious. The fried pork chops had that nice crispy outside, but we’re still tender to eat with your bare hand and just off the bone. It was healthy, fresh fragrant, not greasy or over spicy.
These folks can cook. I recommend 100% the portions are generous, and the foods to just die for and excellent quality for price.
