“My husband and I stopped in last night for an appetizer and drink. We shared the chicken flatbread and it was absolutely wonderful! It was so tasty and fresh. However the best part of our evening was our server! Mattie was so warm and inviting. She was friendly and attentive! If you stop by, which I highly recommend ask for Mattie!“

“Hadn’t seen this place on any of the lists or Facebook group posts about good restaurants in the area, but it looked delicious. We went for lunch today and it was amazing!! They have the cutest indoor and outdoor dining area. We had a cheeseburger and the Italian club plus 2 kids meals. All the food was hot, fresh, and so good. The homemade cookies included with each meal for dessert were incredible! The service was great. We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to try some of their take and bake meals!!“

“Hops and Growlers is truly a gem. The beer is amazing, and they have 20 beers on tap. Every beer I tried was on point and superbly balanced. The only thing better than the beer are the people. Scott is the owner, brewer, and was the guy manning the taps. He and the other customers treated me like I have been frequenting the brewery for years and we were old friends. If you're anywhere close by this is a can't miss place and you should plan on spending more time there than you expect.“

“Absolutely loving this new coffee spot! I had the prettiest baklava latte and a coconut pandan latte—hands down the best coffee I’ve had on the coast. The baristas are so friendly, and the atmosphere is incredibly calming—it seriously felt like I was in another country for the afternoon. Perfect place to knock out some remote work with a client, and we soaked up the beautiful outdoor seating too. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Been here twice. First visit, on a slow weekday in October, sat outside, beautiful weather, & we both got the salad with 2 fried apple rings that were delicious!! Decided to go back on the Sat of the arts & crafts festival, Oct 8th, and it was the wrong time to go! Restaurant was packed, whole outside lined up with people buying alcoholic drinks, floor all wet, & hard to get in. After being seated, we ordered & got our salads, which were half the size of what they were the 1st time, with only ONE apple ring. When we asked about this, a young woman said it was because of the volume of crowd they were trying to serve, so i asked why they weren't compensating a little on the price? She didn't like that, & said she'd see what she could do. Twenty minutes later, she came by with 2 fried apple rings, swiftly threw them on the table, never looked or said a word, then ran off. She was so rude about it, it was awful! I hope if we go back, we never get HER for service!!!“

We called and talked to the day manager. She was so helpful. We went tonight. They were SO accommodating and helpful. They made sure everything I had was safe to eat. Bonus, it was GREAT!! “This is a casual locals bar/restaurant that has exceptionally good food. My wife and I go here all the time and see a lot of the same faces, which is kind of nice. The Reuben sandwich is one of the best I've EVER had (and I'm kind of a connoisseur on those), and the Shepherd's Pie is excellent as well. My wife says the hamburger may be THE best she has had here in Ocean Springs. Of course, most of the dishes come with fries, which are very good as well. They also have some good gumbo, New Orleans style barbeque shrimp, and fried catfish which I'm sure comes from Mississippi. The salads are always fresh, and I think the chef makes the croutons himself! They make a very good Bloody Mary, which I'd rank as #2 here in O.S. and that's saying something. They have a nice, expansive outside seating area that fronts on Bienville Blvd. \n\nIt's not fancy but the food and service are excellent.“

1. No ‘main’ entrance- just mosey around til you find the menus and ordering counter
2. No real dining room -pick pick out a table somewhere
3. Eclectic decor- odd, funny, weird.
4. Girl walks out with the food order loudly calling your name.
5. Very friendly and welcoming.
6. We shared a jumbo plate and that’s all we needed“
