Phoenicia Gourmet Restaurant

The people were nice, but the food (breakfast) was not very good. Ordered a western omelet with ham and cheese, etc. I received burnt bacon crumbles that were few days old. The eggs were very dry and sat under the heat lamp for a while. Try Buzzy’s up the street. Better food, less expensive.

Excellent food

They changed Shawarma (chicken). Now it’s tasteless packaged meat, no Mediterranean spices, horrible wrt the old one. Why did they do that!?

Had the roulades and grits. Menu said meat was filet. I got some kind of machine tenderized cut that was more suitable for country fried steak. Price was consistent with real filet.

Service and atmosphere were great at dinner! The food was good but I was a little disappointed in the baba ganoush…. they serve theirs cold and it was honestly gross. it shouldn’t ever be served that way. I took it home and added more lemon juice and heated it up and it was much better. We enjoyed the hummus, crab moussaka, and chicken shwarma. all delicious. Also, bring your own wine! they don’t service alcohol so BYOB. We will probably come back but definitely won’t be getting the baba ganoush again….yuck

The Greek food that was served was not the same as we are expecting . We are exploring the area and this is not a place for tourist .
Totally, disappointed to try this restaurant.
