I've been here a few times over the years and each time I leave disappointed about something. Last night,I had the Saki combo. The miso soup and salad were delicious. The main was teriyaki chicken, steak and shrimp tempura and vegetables. This is where the disappointment kicked in. The steak was overcooked, but good, as well as the chicken. I've never had pepper in teriyaki sauce, so that was different, but OK. The tempura was not good. It's more like fried bar...
Definitely not the best show I have seen at a hibatchi restaurant. They drowned the shrimp, rice and vegetables in sauces. They are the first hibatchi restaurant I have been to that doesn't have noodles. The sushi was good. That was the best part of the meal by far. The automatically charge an 18% tip, then try to get you to tip again. It was very mediocre.
Firstly and most importantly, the food was amazing. It was so much everyone had a to go box. The cook was seasoned, meaning he put on a good show. Everybody enjoyed it! Also, the food came out fast, and it long took a total of an hour.
Now, the toilet in the women’s restroom was stopped up and the restroom was not clean. We went at 5 pm so they just reopened. They had time to clean those restrooms. Also, the waitress was not very nice.
