Such a delightful little cafe on one side with a larger party space on the other. We were greeted and seated promptly. Just a handful of tables in the kitchen area but it's very nice and comfortable. We were lucky and the owner stopped by with a few samples, maybe they were left from the party room out back. The food was delicious and flavorful with just enough spice to tingle or lips. We ordered dishes as recommended by our server and loved them all. The fruit nacho desert was even better than she said it was. We're looking forward to a return visit!

Parking: Plenty of parking if you're able to walk just a couple of blocks.

Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is wheelchair accessible, didn't notice a nearby handicapped parking spot but we found nearby street parking with easy access

The food was really good, but our server made the experience. Meisha went above and beyond to make our dining experience top notch. I ordered a margarita with shrimp and crawfish nachos, both were super good. She even made us a beautiful order of fruit nachos to go when she found out we’ve never tried them! AMAZING, give the woman a raise because we’re gonna keep coming back just for her warm smile and comforting soul ❤️

Can't say enough about the wait staff. She was fantastic. We decided to spend the day day-drinking in Ocean Springs. Along the path of our drink hopping, we ended up here at The Scratch Kitchen. To go with our drinks, we decided to eat some Royal Reds. The drinks were fantastic, but the Royal Reds were a definite FAIL! I am a louisiana girl, so I'm used to a certain standard, and these were at the bottom of the barrel for sure. Based on view, i was excited to try them. However, they were extremely overcooked and well under seasoned. They had a fishy taste, not at all the sweet lobstery taste they were supposed to have. We did not eat anything else, but based on the Reds, I dont think we would return to this establishment.

I never leave reviews but I felt that this place deserved it! My husband and I came here to eat. He got the crawfish nachos and I got the seafood boil platter. When I tell you that was the best crab/shrimp that I have ever eaten, I’m not lying!! The flavor was on point and the service was just as good! We will definitely be back!!

Listen. We got one thing and one thing only. And if you do nothing else. Get the Heavenly fruit nachos.Everything was fresh. Everything was in good proportion to compliment another. It was amazing.

The service I received was perfect and the food was phenomenal. I had the spicy shrimp salad with jalapeño ranch dressing which was delicious. Would definitely return and recommend to friends!

I came here for one thing and one thing only the Heavenly Fruit Nacho with Cheesecake Dip! If you have a sugar tooth, this is where you want to be. I didn't even look at the menu for anything else. I was immediately treated and sat at a table on a Tuesday night. Parking was hard to find, so make sure you plan ahead. The inside dining area is okay, but the outside is better. The hostest sat me down, and the waitress greeted me immediately. I told her what I was interested in, and within minutes I got what I asked for. The Heavenly Fruit Nacho with Cheesecake Dip. This dessert is the right size and is meant to be shared, and even though I was by myself, I was able to finish it all. The crispy chips were covered in cinnamon and sugar, and the fruit was fresh and covered in white chocolate and a caramel glaze. Then there was some whipped cream and a scoop of cheesecake that looked like a ball of vanilla ice cream, which would have also worked. This dish is on another level! You have never had something taste this good as a dessert. The only thing I would say you need to have with you is something to drink because this dish is super sweet. I loved every bite, and I would come back again for this dish. I have never had anything like it. No wonder they have it on their logo as "Home of the Heavenly Fruit Nacho."

I live in a house behind them, and for the past two years it has been quiet. When they opened up, employees and customers started coming in my yard and peeing in my bushes, fights were breaking out, gunshot have been fired and I live right by them. When I reached out on fb to the owner she said I needed to get a life, and that this has been happening downtown forever and to get over it. I have never eaten there and I never want to based off how she is and the company she attracts

I came here wondering if this little place lives up to the hype. It didn't disappoint. We had the shrimp nachos and smashed potato creole, then finished with the notorious fruit nachos and dip. The food is plentiful and flavorful for sure! Sara was our waitress, and she was great. While the fruit nachos were delicious, next time I'll skip the dip b/c it was sweet enough without it. (But that's just personal preference.)I don't know if there's truth to being charged extra to sit outside due to local musicians playing (I wasn't there at peak hours), so if you are thinking about going during busier evenings, you might want to call first.

Visiting the coast over weekend. This place came highly recommended for a brunch with live DJ. Parking was a little difficult. (Goverment Street busy). Liked that reservations $10 was online. Arrived and seated immediately. Wasn't aware this was a non-alcoholic full service bar. (Might have been an oversight on my part when looking at menu online) anyone who enjpy coolers, wines and beers plentiful. Ordered the seafood potatoe $25...was totally disappointed as the seafood was dry and overcooked. The flavor was good but for a $25 potatoe everything has to be appetizing. The lack of circulating air. Two ceiling fans that are entirely two high up provided NO air or cooling. This place is made of aluminum (tin) I almost fainted due to extreme heat. Please invest in swamp A/C, additional ceiling fans and always observe who are observing you. Don't show special treatment to "special guest" and provide them with a fan ( you removed from behind the bar) to give to that section when the rest of your guest are fanning themselves with whatever they have available...i.e. your menu. I gave a 3 star (my guest wanted to give 1star) she had the chicken salad and actually wasn't able to eat. She left because of the uncomfortable temperature. DJ and young lady doing the hookah was great. Bartender was attentive. I will attempt again on future visit to see if any changes.

The Scratch Kitchen is the BOMB DOT COM! Literally have stolen my little foodie heart when it comes to a quick soulful fix to my day. I fell in love with them thanks to the owner coming into Queen’s and telling my sister & I about their fruit nachos back when they were a food truck. I’ve been hooked ever since! Flat breads- on point, Chicken Salad Croissants- slaying, Queso Dip- fire, Salads- to die for!!!! And the Fruit Nachos every visit!

Went here on Saturday afternoon. It was busy as anything is on Govt Street. Walked in and kindly greeted and asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. We asked for inside and they said we would have to wait unless we wanted to sit at the bar. Sitting at the bar is fine with us. So we sat down and the bartender greeted us and took our drink order. She was very friendly. We ordered the Mexican street corn dip. It came out fast and warm. It was very good. Then we ordered chicken mac and cheese and smashed chicken potatoes. Both came out very quick and was really good. My 4 star rating is because I think the food is a little over priced for the servings. And also the AC isn't working. But other than that it's a great place to eat.
