Although it was a slow night for Trilby's (I and one other gentleman were the only ones there for a while), the food was excellent, as was the Expresso Martini and dessert. Service was outstanding also. Thanks, Trilby's!

The best onion soup I have had since Paris! The Trout Tribly was exquisite. Kevin was very polite and professional. He checked on us frequently. They brought a small round granite and brass stool to keep my wife's purse off the floor. We had never seen anything like this before, but it was very useful. The person working the bar really knows how to make great margaritas! The ambiance was fabulous. The decorations were elegant and the background music was pleasant and low enough for us to converse in normal voice. We will definitely be back for our 59th anniversary next year!

We love Trilby's. Even when they're very busy, their staff takes exceptional care of us, and the food is consistently outstanding. I had the Blackened Redfish Pontchartrain and the Deconstructed Key Lime Pie. They were both delicious!

This restaurant has beautiful decor and We had a table of four in one of the private rooms at Trilbys. Everyone agreed after 4 nights of eating out in Ocean Springs this was the best dinner of the week. Oysters Trilby for our appetizer. We all had seafood dishes for dinner: trout and redfish prepared different ways with 3 sides. Plus The Most delicious Bananas Foster for dessert. Our waitress was outstanding. She knew all the answers to our questions and was knowledgeable about the menu and drinks like a professional would. I visit Ocean Springs frequently, every couple of months and I would save right now this is our favorite restaurant.

This was my first time dining at Trilby's; however, it will not be my last. Everything from start to end was outstanding. My group tried dishes that we do not normally eat and was pleased with the quality and taste. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was awesome. I will recommend this restaurant to others and 8 will be going back with friends.

The chicken pot pies were undercooked so the veggies were hard. Food mediocre. Last two times I have dined at Trilbys the restaurant has a horrible musty mold smell throughout. They compensate by blasting the AC. So its freezing and smells bad. The food was mediocre on a Friday night. Wait staff was very attentive. Just not worth the money. Could be nice.

I had the trout Trilby, the ends of it takes good but the center was so fishy I had to spit it out into my napkin. The French onion soup was so disappointing. It was the worst I ever had, it had very little flavor but the cheese on top was good. My husband had the blackened redfish ( what little bit of fish on the plate) and it was not impressive at all. The fried soft shell crab on top was good. My glass of wine was good and the bread pudding was good, the staff was very good but too bad the food was not. The portions were too small for the price… especially the terrible tasting trout.

Knowledgeable wait staff. Good bar. Kitchen was not well stocked; did not have the fish for one of their signature dishes. Could have been a great date night, but sat two tables away from a group of used car salesmen (seriously) who were fond of the f word. Management should have put them in a private room or moved us. Glad we tried it but in no hurry to go back.

We had the crab au gratin, which was missing something to finish it. Trout almandine and ribeye were also serviceable but just not finished in a way you would expect at that price point. It really is a beautiful restaurant and everyone was so welcoming and professional, I'm hoping it was an off night and would be willing to try again.
