Down home cooking at its best. Large quanity of food and everything was delicious. J ordered lasagna and was asked fish or chicken, it cane with the lasagna. Greens were cooked to perfection and served with cornbread. Some of the best baked beans we've had. Lunch came with cobbler. Will stop agin if in the area. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

stopped by on a roadtrip from new orleans to chicago. we ordered the pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and the breakfast platter. everything was spectacular (dare i say better than anything we had in NoLa). our waitress was kind. we got to meet the cook, sandra, and she greeted us with a warm hug. i’d recommend this place to anyone. the best places are always off the beaten path.

Had the breakfast platter with hash browns. Everything homemade. Got a side of of gravy with sausage over the biscuit that comes with platter. Absolutely delicious!! Haven’t eaten a home cooked breakfast like it in a long time. Hats off to the cook, seasoned just right no need to add anything! Bacon and hashbrowns were crispy just like I like it! Nice friendly atmosphere! Definitely a hidden gem!

Tiny place. No frills. Just good home style food. We shared an omelette and a side of fried okra. All delicious. Melissa is delightful. Thanks for everything.

This was on of the best restaurants I have been to. No joke. I work all over the south, this is hands down the best country cafe. Sandra and her husband are very nice people, you can tell just by meeting them. 5 stars all the way if you are driving to Jackson, MS from or to New Orleans area this is worth the stop. @foodnetwork
