I grew up near Gillsburg, not far from Osyka, and recently visited with my daughter. We were out for a drive, rode down Hwy 51 from Magnolia, and initially stopped to order something just to use the restroom. But the menu grabbed our attention and we stayed for lunch. The catfish sandwich on Texas Toast and the deep fried okra were both delicious. Everyone was friendly, staff and other customers. We'll be back again.

Burger Basket is AWESOME ‼️we all got burgers today . By far the best burger around . The double meat burger is a full pound and priced right for growing boys. The Blooming Onion well what's not to like about it ....You'd be a blooming idiot not to try it ‼️ Our waitress was adorable w nothing more to offer than down home Southern Hospitality ‼️ Think you ought to try it .....🤔 WHY NOT❓️❓️❓️

We headed to your restaurant while traveling to get lunch and to take a break from the pouring rain. The website said your hours were 6am to 8pm on Saturday. When we got to the stop sign in town the tornado sirens were warning us to take cover. We parked our 35 foot 5th wheel and got to your doors to be turned away during a tornado warning. We waited out the severe storm outside on your porch while you were safe inside. When the hail and rain slowed down we got back on the road. Got a couple miles out of town we had to turn around because of down wires and trees in the road.
