I grew up near Gillsburg, not far from Osyka, and recently visited with my daughter. We were out for a drive, rode down Hwy 51 from Magnolia, and initially stopped to order something just to use the restroom. But the menu grabbed our attention and we stayed for lunch. The catfish sandwich on Texas Toast and the deep fried okra were both delicious. Everyone was friendly, staff and other customers. We'll be back again.
First time trying this place that someone told us about. We will definitely be back. Ask for the blooming onion and add crawfish sauce! The steak and hamburger steak were great too!
