Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We waited over 20 mins to even have our drink order taken and even longer for our food to arrive. We never received the cornbread we asked for . The server was friendly and I’m assuming it wasn’t her fault . This seeks to happen nearly every time we visit our location.

What happened to this place. I have been going here since I was a little boy and the atmosphere is not the same and it feels like a fast food restaurant. The food comes out slow and cold, and the service is not the same. I wish there was a different Cracker Barrel in our area

Our food was horrible. It was cold. We sent it back several times, but we got frustrated and just left and I said I’d just post a review!! The waitress wasn’t friendly at all either.

Horrible service waited an hour and half for food and still didn't get food

This Cracker Barrel used to be a staple of the pearl community with great service, food, and a wonderful atmosphere. The last two visits (one today and one a few months ago) have been terrible. After being seated and our orders being taken we waited over an hour for our food. The waitress served my fiancé a coke that was flatter than the pavement in the parking lot and after 40 minutes gave us some lukewarm biscuits. The waitress said “since your food isn’t ready just yet.” The biscuits come with the meal, yet she acted like she was throwing us a bone with them. It was followed up by more terrible service and almost no refills. Last time we were there the waitress served me a flat coke with ice and then put another one down for a ‘refill’ saying that she might forget to get me a refill if/when I needed one. That was on a slower day for them so there was no excuse. Pearl, MS’s Cracker Barrel is, by far and away, the worse Cracker Barrel I’ve ever experienced.

I got seated at the restaurant and didn't get waited on and one of the people that work there, not a waitress, came over and ask if I had been waited on. She took my order and brought my silverware, cornbread and tea to the table. After some time had passed a waitress brought me my meal, chicken and dumplings. I asked if I could get a refill on my tea, but she never brought it. Finally, I stopped a waiter and asked for a refill.
The service and lunch that I received that day was AWFUL. The chicken and dumplings were one big clump of dough. I did manage to find a few pieces of chicken in them. The macaroni and cheese looked to be old and had some burned pieces in it.
I will certainly think hard before I go back to lunch here. I used to love Cracker Barrel, but it is way down on my list of places to go now!

Me and my mom had a very good experience at Cracker Barrel. Malcolm was our server and he was great. Very courteous and timely with our food.

Wish they would go back to the old recipe of the hash brown casserole which is my favorite. I'm a faithful costumer that comes one or twice a week and the food is getting worse every time

Ordered Breakfast that was very disappointing. Hash browns were very hard, biscuits were cold,hard & not fresh. Order was not correct.

Horrible service

Some of the workers here have the worst attitude ever. After sitting on the phone for 20 mins just to get someone on to place my order, I pick it up and it’s incorrect. I come back and the manager I’m assuming she is looks at me like I’m the one in the wrong.

Extremely slow service! Our waiter took our order quickly but then it took over an hour to get our food. All we ordered was eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Managers had to come over and apologize and offered to take a feel off our bill. I saw other people get up and walk out due to slow service. To-go people were also complaining about their order taking long to prepare. But plenty of employees just standing around chatting and not working. Would not go back to that location. Food was cold when we finally got it.

Was eating by myself, only took 10 minutes to have me seated. Ordered chicken fried chicken with white gravy and three sides. Didn’t receive my food till about 35 minutes later looking as if it sat out for a while with no white gravy and was told that they didn’t have any white gravy. I asked when they would and my waitress said the white gravy, would be ready in 10 minutes. 25 minutes went by. I asked the manager if he could check on my food. He came back to me and told me that the gravy wouldn’t be done for another 12 minutes. I’m traveling through Mississippi on my way back to Texas and basically wasted over an hour of my time and didn’t even get what I ordered I walked out super frustrated. Hands-down the worst service I’ve received anywhere at a restaurant.
