My wife and daughter are AVID crawfish eaters so with my family of 5 we dove into 20 lbs. The food was good but I could have done better. We spent over 200 dollars. When we received the bill it was over 300. When asked we were told an 18% gratuity was added. We didn’t get an itemized bill…when asked the girl seemed surprised and explained that it’s added to ALL billls. If we hadn’t asked for a breakdown of what we ordered our bill would have been 323…before we tipped.

This establishment charges $3 for a single cup of water ($9 for three), which is unusually high for a basic courtesy item. Additionally, the crawfish was extremely disappointing. It appeared to have little to no seasoning infused during the cooking process—as though it was simply boiled in plain water with seasoning sprinkled on the shells afterward. I’ve never turned down crawfish before, but this was the first time I found it inedible. Overall, the quality and value did not meet expectations.

This is the kind of place I search for when traveling. This is a local, no frills eatery. The food was tasty and hot. Service was prompt and friendly.

Extremely Disappointed and Will Not Be Returning
Every time I visit this restaurant, I have an unpleasant experience, and my most recent visit was the final straw. I ordered 4 pounds of crawfish and noticed a 10% fee added to my bill. When I asked the waiter about it, I was told this fee is charged to everyone who orders seafood and that there was a sign outside explaining the policy.
I went to check the sign myself, and it clearly states that the 10% fee applies to orders of 6 pounds or more. I only ordered 4 pounds. Despite that, a woman who appeared to be in a supervisory or management role insisted the fee applied to all seafood orders. When I pointed out that her policy doesn’t align with the sign, she responded rudely, told the cashier to change my receipt, and walked off mid-conversation while throwing her hand up in the air. She has a very arrogant and unpleasant demeanor.
To make matters worse, I was told the 10% fee is considered a mandatory tip. So not only are customers being charged a tip without consent, but it’s also being falsely applied to orders that don’t meet the posted requirements. I can only imagine how many people have unknowingly been overcharged in this way.
The lack of professionalism and transparency is unacceptable. I will not be returning and would caution others to double-check their receipts and question any unexplained fees.

Lack basic customer service skills. My friends and I were treated like we were annoying to them just for asking for a menu. Prior to this incident I came regularly and recommended it to others. Your food can be great, but if the faces of your business are rude and inconsiderate; you’ll never get more business from me. The person that attempted to serve us appeared to be in management…Poor example of how to treat people. If you don’t like people you shouldn’t work in a place where you’re required to be customer friendly…
TERRIBLE SERVICE! Our “waitress” only came to our table to take our food and drink orders and never came back. We sat at the table for two hours with no refills! At least half the menus wasn’t even available to order.
This place had the best crawfish and oysters i give this place a five star rating
Been in Jackson for 11 months. This place reminded me seafood of home. (Mobile Alabama). Best damn seafood in Jackson and there price is very cheap compared to others.

DO NOT CONSIDER GOING HERE. !! If I could give a zero I would! 1. They charge a dollar for tap water and also a dollar to refill the tap water!!! NO JOKE!! 2. I ordered fried fish and it was pieces like you would get in a bag at Sam’s because it probably was bought there. Very bad quality. 3. No catfish sides like onions etc. 3. Atmosphere is bland. They definitely do NOT care if they are pleasing you. I feel like my money was wasted!!!
Parking: Very, very few parking spaces and that’s the only reason it’s difficult parking.
