We always go out for dinner with friends every Friday night. Usually spend $75-$150 when we do. Jenny was feeling not so well today so we canceled our dinner plans. Your gumbo has already made her feel better. Thank you again for the delicious gumbo with rice and bread and we only spent $56 for everything including delivery. And got another quart left! Definitely will order again. Eddie n Jenny

If the food doesn’t draw you in the art and music will. A great fried food alternative. Also has a lot of lent options.

I bought a quart of the crawfish etouffee and a quart of gumbo to take home. My wife and I had the etouffee for dinner and it was great.

It's alright. Not the best..had to order in one part of the building walk backed outside and go into a different part of the building. Sat at a picnic table and we had three really young kids with us. Not the most convenient or safest when you have small kids. But it was the only place to sit at the time.

This is a small family owned restaurant that you probably wont find unless youre looking for it. The food is fantastic and the employees are very enthusiastic about it. Its a little expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I’ve thought long & hard before I decided to make this post. But in my heart I feel like it’s the right thing to do. Let me start by saying my husband & I have eaten at “Darwell’s Too” over the past year on many occasions, not to mention we’ve ordered large orders for take out several times. The food on every single occasion has been excellent. With that being said, I must say that I’ve never been more disappointed in Chef Darwell than I am right now. You see, he was scheduled to come and cook for a VERY important family event this coming Saturday (my mother-in-laws 80th Surprise birthday party). He agreed to do this event months ago! Many plans have gone into preparing this very special surprise for her, only to find out today (4 days before the party) that he is no longer available! This was so totally unprofessional to be told at the last minute. And the only reason we found out at all, is because my husband went by there to see if there was anything else we needed to do in preparation. MR. DARWELL, THIS IS POOR BUSINESS!! I’m ashamed of you and this establishment. I will no longer recommend you restaurant to anyone. This may not mean a thing to you, but for those that know me, they know that I am usually very soft spoken and a women of integrity, & that I would never have never taken the time to write this if it wasn’t weighing on my heart. I pray that you will think about what you’ve done and that you never treat anyone else this way.

Great red beans and rice and shrimp etouffee. Best Cajun food in the area. My two children had spaghetti and meatballs, which are also delicious. Large servings are offered at a great price. The decor is nice, and the owners are very friendly.

We used to love Darwell’s even before he opened this location. He does have the best Crawfish étouffée but he and his wife are very critical of the city they work and live in

The Crawdaddy burger is AMAZING and the crawfish etouffee is a cream base that is absolutely the best I have ever had. I use to drive to New Orleans on my birthday just to get good crawfish etouffee...I no longer have to drive 3 hours...I can get it here. The prices are a little shocking at first but you are paying for quality not some frozen microwave stuff that you get from the chain stores. Call ahead because it is a family owned and operated restaurant and the hours can vary. I highly recommend you check this place out! A hidden gem of Pearl

Racist. They turned around a friend of mine and said, “you may want to go find yourself somewhere else to eat.” “Real food for Real people?” What a shame a place like that still exists. They write good reviews about themselves. The real reviews are very consistent and are all one star. I hope they improve and I pray to God that their ignorance be taken away.

The food was good although rather expensive for the venue. For a $40 lunch (2 people, and we got the daily special) we were served with take out style plates and plastic cups. Some people had real plates but plastic cups. Over priced drinks. I can't argue that the food was indeed delicious, but the cost was pretty expensive and we didn't see any lunch menu prices. To pay $40 for sitting on a picnic table in a plain room with plastic ware was a bit of a let down. But if you don't mind paying classy restaurant prices to eat good food but in a very casual setting then you will like it just fine.
