El Mariachi is a fantastic find! The flavors are authentic, and the food was great. The staff was welcoming and quick with service, and the dining space was very clean. The menu has typical items like burritos, enchiladas, etc. But at the back of the menu is the authentic stuff. The GOOD stuff! We started with a healthy helping of chips & salsa. Then we shared a carne asada Torta with 3 different tacos — brisket, pastor, and steak. The Torta was amazing & can feed 2 people. Definitely recommend it! Tacos were good too & worth the money. Ended the meal with a to-go cup full of Horchata & it was devine! So, so good! If you've never had Horchata, then try it while you're there! You won't be sorry. El Mariachi is a must-visit for anyone craving top-notch Mexican cuisine.

Being from Houston, I guess my expectations were too high. I wasn't impressed by far. Mediocre at best. I ordered the fajitas, which I thought would be strips of meat, but it resembled street taco meat. For $17, I was expecting more. The cheese and bean dip had little to no flavor. The chips were great, though. I wouldn't go back. These pics were after I started. Forgot to get before pics.

An amazing Mexican Restaurant that has some actual authentic Mexican dishes that are out of this world. Their gorditas are so crispy on top and the masa base is just perfect to take on their great sauces. The handmade sopes are very, very comforting and delicious. The crispy bottoms with perfect masa bases and the room for toppings and condiments.
Ooohwee! Probably my new favorite Mexican spot in Pearl! I ordered Menudo which is a spicy tripe soup, he got the steak fajita chimichanga with cheese sauce, we LOVE the more traditional cuts of meats like tripa, cachete, Suadero etc so we ordered 5 different tacos to share, and because our eyes are bigger than our stomachs we also got the Gordita asada.
Tripe in the menudo was thick cut which I thoroughly enjoyed, it was extremely tender and they even had tendon which I haven't seen in many menudos here.. Flavor was very mild though, but the great thing is you can always add more to your menudo, I love a ton of hot salsa/hot sauce, lime, cilantro and onions in mine. The chimichanga had a ton of steak and cheese sauce, so if you love your meat and cheese they give you plenty. Tacos were fire! Those home made tortillas were to die for!! I'm a hot sauce salsa kinda gal and I didn't need any of it. The tacos were topped with cilantro, onions and grilled onions as well.
...Now the star of it all, yallllllll go get you some gorditas!! My goodness, MY GOODNESS those were the best gorditas I've had in a while. The masa was so delicious, hot off of the presser, he doesn't like gorditas but ate most of mine! I would come back here just for this, it was absolutely 10/10!! I bet their tamales are amazing foo, but those are seasonal so I'm getting me a dozen when they start offering it again.
Included a menu for yall.
