El Mariachi is a fantastic find! The flavors are authentic, and the food was great. The staff was welcoming and quick with service, and the dining space was very clean. The menu has typical items like burritos, enchiladas, etc. But at the back of the menu is the authentic stuff. The GOOD stuff! We started with a healthy helping of chips & salsa. Being from Houston, I guess my expectations were too high. I wasn't impressed by far. Mediocre at best. I ordered the fajitas, which I thought would be strips of meat, but it resembled street taco meat. For $17, I was expecting more. The cheese and bean dip had little to no flavor. The chips were great, though. I wouldn't go back. These pics were after I started. Forgot to get before pics.
