Boo's Smoke House & Restaurant

We’ve eaten there twice. 1st time the fried catfish smelled and tasted like burnt oil. And I don’t have a good sense of smell.My wife & I Went back last night (I know anyone can have a off night) ordered family fish plate. They brought us both cole slaw and potato salad as well. The potato salad tasted like pure yellow mustard and the cole slaw was rancid. We couldn’t eat it. The catfish was WAY over fried, it was actually fried hard.For the $$$ you spend at Boo’s $16.99 for (1) yes 1 plate from the buffet.Pass up this place, they are living on the reputation of the former owners the Dukes who had fantastic food.I wouldn’t go back if they gave me a meal.

Good food and friendly staff. Steak is on the lunch menu on Thursdays. The lunch steak isn't top quality, but definitely worth what it costs. Still a good steak. The other lunch options are typically pretty good too, though.

While I do recommend Smokehouse BBQ, I would like to add that I WISH THEY WOULD FIX THE PRICE OF ITEMS ONLINE!!!! I have gone multiple times and been charged extra every time, only to ask and be told “yes our prices online are not correct.” The young lady last night, after I was charged an extra $10 from what I should have been charged according to prices online, stated that she had told management numerous times that it needs fixing. We love the food and come often but I would appreciate knowing what I’m paying for. Thanks!

Great food wonderful place

The food is great I can not say the same for some of the people working there. There is an older lady who is always extremely rude and today I walked in and she basically told me I needed to wait outside.... In the 98 degree ms heat with a mask on. No thank you the food is good but not that good. Recommend getting more help with better manners toward customers

one of my new favorite bbq places. the pulled pork has always been fresh and not dry. the pork nuggets are unique and worth a try!

Love the steaks & chicken fried steaks at the pelahatchie site. I will drive to pelahatchie to eat that one over the one on 471 because the food at that one is some of the best you will find. That cook there is excellent. Not fond of either stores brisket it’s not that good but ribs are very good.

FANTASTIC might begin to cover it. Really good food. Great service! I walked almost 2 miles to get here and it was so worth it!
