Fuji Japanese Express

I’ve been searching for good hibachi alll day. Was referred to this place and the food wasn’t good. I don’t like mushrooms and it was in the rice 🤮🤮 I’m annoyed!!! $18 gone to waste

I have always chosen Fuji. I’ve never had a bad experience and the food is always on point! The serve is great and the wait isn’t long at all! Been going here for years. Just wish the California rolls weren’t smaller.

Mississippi Roll 🤌

My go-to place when I want hibachi take out. Portion size on the scallops is small but everything I've tried is good.

in this moment i was craving steak soooooo bad. always thought about trying this place cus I was always in the area but I just never did. fast forward, gave into my craving & tried something “new” on DoorDash & chile……..Im a forever fan. Yakimeshi steak + egg. Can’t wait to try their sushi.

I'm pretty surprised at the overall rating of this restaurant. This place is not for the true sushi lover but for the 'California roll' kind of people.

I got the Supreme Salmon and never have I seen a thinner slice of salmon on a roll. I couldn't even taste it. The inside of the roll was supposed to be salmon and avocado and while technically, they were both there - in addition there was a filler 'crunchy' that way out measured the other ingredients. Lots of filler, little small amount of fish. I don't eat to get full, I eat for the flavor. It just wasn't there. Again - the top of the roll is supposed to have salmon on it and while it did - it was paper thin cut. I won't go back. Service was great, restaurant looked clean.

We have loved everything about we’ve tried at Fuji but the eggrolls (not pictured because we ain’t them first) are still my favorite. My husband likes the dragon roll and I love the super salmon roll. And the steamed dumplings are delicious. We can’t recommend Fuji enough.

First time trying Fuji Japanese express and pedal, I really enjoyed how welcoming staff was and how clean and neat the restaurant was too. I got the baked seafood roll. Before coming here, I noticed that this restaurant is identical to OEC in Hattiesburg. Sushi was OK, again very identical to OEC on looks and taste. I would need to get the yakimeshi here to fully compare but the sushi overall was OK, I don’t think I would get that role again and possibly even sushi again but I would come back to try to the yakimeshi.

The sushi was so good. The second a person leave a person would come and clean the table. Next time I would definitely come here again.
