I was in this McAllister in Petal Ms at 5:56pm on 8.18.2024 picking up a doordash order. The temp outside was over 100⁰. As the worker was giving me the door dash order I asked her if I could purchase a cup of tea? She suggested that I wait until she waited on another couple first then she would pour up the tea. Mind you I had a doordash order.
I hate to play the race card but I felt like because of my race I was told to wait until she waited on a couple of another race first.
Very unprofessional.

The GM, there is awesome! We were overcharged for something. Didn’t take her long to see that we were overcharged. And she refunded the difference. Food is always good too!

Who doesn’t put avocado on a southwest chicken and AVOCADO salad? I mean, really? Come on.

A little bit out of the way to get to. Almost didn't see it at first. Potato soup was good. Sandwich was a little dry.

I called ahead of my visit for information about what I planned to buy. The information given to me on the phone was absolutely wrong.I asked whether the potato soup contained pork, and was told that it did not. It's against my faith to consume pork, and so I was understandably upset to find ham in my bowl of soup. I did inform the person that was (apparently) in charge and accepted her apology, but it was a negative experience for me.

My after work, to go order was not taken properly. Upon my arrival home this was discovered. I called and spoke with the manager she agreed to allow me to return the next day after work and she would redo the order.

Love the Reuben, tea, tater salad, and all the cookies. The crew is quick, friendly, and usually check on me once or twice during my meal.

The place was busy, but we felt like the wait was worth it. Two in our party were from out of town and had never eaten there. I believe that they will return.
