My husband was drawn to this place by the sign showing they had a fried bologna sandwich. It was one of his childhood favorites. I got a shrimp basket, which was very generous. It has an extensive menu, I just wish they had a printed menu with descriptions of the items.
$17 for a two piece catfish plate. Ater asking three times at the speaker for tartar sauce, they didn't give me any! I'll just drive 15 minutes up the road to Captain D's for now on.
Petal Wards is about the best Wards around. Go with the double little one instead of the big one cause the meat tastes better. It's good, but is it just me, or didn't their food taste way better when we walked over after school1 in the late 80's.
