I have found my new favorite coffee shop! What a gem!! This friendly, locally owned coffee shop exudes Southern charm and offers their own unique blend of coffee beans that sets it apart from the big-name chains.
The iced vanilla latte is particularly noteworthy, surpassing what you'd typically find elsewhere. Their blended iced drinks are velvety smooth. Also tried their homemade buffalo chicken salad, with their secret spice mix, and hands down my favorite. They also have made to order beignets along with other in house pastries, and light lunches.
If you're visiting, staying for a while, or just passing through, please stop at a J's Coffee House. Take it from a city girl from Houston, TX, you won't be disappointed!!

Couldn’t review anything but the service bc we never got food or drinks.
We have been in town working on 4 different days. We tried on 2 separate days to buy drinks and food. The first time he said the system was down and he couldn’t run a card. So I offered cash with an almost double amount over what the total would have been. We were ordering drinks for 2 people and some beignets. The total should have been about 20-25 dollars. I offered to pay $40 in cash and him keep the rest for a tip when he could ring it up. He still refused to take my order. However a man came in ahead of me and ordered a drink and bc he knew him he took his order and money and told him he’d put his order in when the system came back up. As he was telling me he couldn’t take my order he told me that he had several orders to put in that had taken since the system was down. The second time here it was 530 so he said he could take my drink order but no beignets were served past 430. So unfortunately we never got to try the shop. And we never will because we decided if he was rude again we just wouldn’t be back because his attitude really really stinks and he needs some training in customer service!

A young male made my drink order for a hot, oat-milk latte. There was no froth/foam, and he said lattes aren't made with froth. I explained to him I've never had a latte without foam, and I'm 48 years old. I then left with my froth-less latte and after taking my first sip, I discovered it was barely lukewarm. At almost $6, I wasn't pleased.

Buffalo Bills
In town for 1 night. On the way out needed some espresso before my drive. Amazing roast one of the better espresso I have had. The muffin was good. Not only that, the price was very reasonable and not overpriced. Want a good cup of espresso this is the place. Don’t need Starbucks. If anyone knows what roast they use let me know.

Nothing better than coming back to my hometown to see a fantastic coffee shop. Coffee was amazing and the beignets are just as good as Cafe Du Monde. A must stop at.
