Our meal and service were excellent. Filet was perfectly cooked, brussel sprouts were devine. Loaded baked potato was perfect. One of our favorite places to eat . Always great food and service.
I'd heard great things about Phillip M's and that was our choice for a date night. Great atmosphere! The appetizer of popcorn shrimp was delicious. The cowboys ribeye was superb! The baked potato was cold. We'll go back but will try another side.
I had the filet & husband had the ribeye. We shared brussel sprouts & lobster Mac n cheese. We also each got an old fashion. Everything was absolutely perfect!
The food was delicious. Service is wonderful. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. It was a nice quiet evening.
The absolute best experience and best food!!! The steak was the best I've ever had. The service was amazing! The restaurant was gorgeous.
Great ambience. Perfect for that date night or special occasion. We never miss an opportunity to visit when we are in town
My husband and I drove two and a half hours to have a nice romantic Valentine's Day dinner. We enjoyed every bit of our experience at the restaurant. They setup the table just how I asked. We were greeted with rose petals on the table in a nice romantic booth. Our server Angela was phenomenal!!! We enjoyed a glass of Riesling. We ordered salmon , lamb, and one side of broccoli since the side portions were big but because it was our first time, Angela let us try the lobster Mac and cheese as well. My husband gave the lamb a 6/10 and I gave the salmon 10/10 (it was just a small portion). The sides were good! I told them we were celebrating some major accomplishments, which was my husband's insurance business flourishing and I got my Chapter 2 approval for my dissertation, plus I wanted to treat my husband in a special way, so we received a dessert with “Congrats!” on it. Our overall experience went exceptionally well!
This would have been a great anniversary dinner, the food was great, was service awesome, but it was terribly cold inside. It was so in there we could we could not enjoy it, The staff was cold, we were cold, and some patrons who walked in behind us had same complaints, we noticed everyone walking in shivering, one lady even covered her whole head with her jacket at one point. We had our server ask management to adjust the temperature but it was with no avail, staff even stated they'd asked several times themselves. I've never been so ready to leave a restaurant.
Our server was absolutey terrible. Food was ok-ish.

I really enjoyed the food. The manager brought us a bottle of wine he suggested. Overall nice time. Our server was not great. I don't know if she didn't like us, but she barely appeared at our table.

How fortunate we are to have a real Five Star restaurant in Philadelphia at the Silver Star, Pearl River Resort. Shelia was again our server with over 30 years loyalty at Phillip M's with excellent service and wonderful food.
This was by far the best restaurant we have been in the state of Mississippi. Food was fantastic! Cooked perfectly! Also some of the best baked bread I've ever eaten. I would rate this restaurant as one of the best places I've eaten in the entire US.
After several friends recommended this place for a fine dining experience, I decided to make a reservation for my son and me after a couple of rounds of golf. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. We spent $273 for two people, and the entire meal was terrible.
Things started off well with a prompt seating and our server quickly bringing our drink orders, except for a cocktail I ordered, which was delivered by another server about 15 minutes later.
We ordered appetizers and salads, and our server offered to stagger the delivery if we were ready to order our entrées. Surprisingly, the salads came out first instead of the appetizers. I had the chophouse wedge salad, which was served without blue cheese dressing. It was dry except for a few blue cheese crumbles, and I couldn't get the server's attention to bring the dressing. Perhaps they were saving me some calories.
When the shellfish trio arrived, I had high hopes, but it seemed like the food came from the adjacent seafood buffet. The crab claws were rubbery and not fresh, and while the shrimp were a good size, they were also rubbery and not fresh.
We didn't see our server again until the end of the meal. Another server brought our steaks and left immediately, not giving us a chance to check the temperature. We ordered a filet and a bone-in KC Prime steak, both medium. However, both steaks were cooked rare. I can usually tolerate undercooked steak, but the KC strip was so tough it was hard to cut, let alone eat. The filet was too undercooked for my son's liking.
Our server finally reappeared at the end. Thanks.
It was late, and we just wanted to get back to our

Good was excellent. The colors in the restaurant are worst I've ever seen. Red and black. When it first opened, it was beautiful and soothing to the eye. Now it's open and cold.
I really really enjoyed the restaurant drinks.... My chicken breast was very salty. I had to send it back. My Mother's pork chop dinner wasn't good at all (according to her). My Sister's hamburger and stick fries was awesome( I enjoyed it a lot too). The restaurant it self (staff and decor) was really GREAT. I'll definitely go back.
