While we was eating our food a cock roach was on our table. After we started watching we seen several climbing in the wall. The owner lied and said that a party brought a flag in and the roaches came in with it. Take in mind we have ate there several times before and this said flag has been up on this wall for I know a year. We will not eve set foot back in this place. Shows online they’re open. Tried to call nobody answered. Stopped by and they’ve locked the door. All I wanted was an order of hush puppies and a salad. But that’s ok they need not worry about getting my money ever again. The food sucks here anyways for the price for sure. Only reason I was stopping was cuz it said they was open. I guess when you ain’t getting no business you might as well shut the doors early

Very nice, casual restaurant. Excellent customer service. They have specials each night. They serve tasty hush puppies to snack on while you are waiting for your food. Great salad bar with a good variety of additions- pickled okra, pickles, pickled cucumbers, carrots, onions, baby corn, olives, ham, eggs, pasta salad, bacon bits, croutons and crackers. Lots of appetizers. Catfish, steaks, shrimp, chicken. We got the scrap plate that comes with an 8oz steak, fish fillet and 3 fried shrimp and 2 sides and Texas toast - it was plenty to share. The steak was cooked just as ordered. Fish fillet was cooked perfectly. Tasty shrimp. The baked potato was huge and cooked well- nice and fluffy- served with butter and sour cream. Highly recommend

Came out for my birthday. We had a group of 15. I ordered the hamburger steak. It was not done completely. I complained to the waitress and was informed that if they remake the plate, I’d be charged for another plate. So I spent $17 for a plate of food that I couldn’t consume at all!!! We will NOT be back!!!

Two piece fish plate, shrimp plate, cheese sticks a kids fish plate three drinks and two salads for $96?!?!?! I think not. I will definitely not be back. I know the price of food has went up but definitely not that much. Yes we came with a group. So disappointed! I would think the food would have taste decent for that price.

We have eaten here for a few years very often. Love the atmosphere and the food. However, the roaches have seemed to get worse over time. The very first time was a few years ago while fixing a salad there was one crawling on the salad bar. But we love it so much we continued to go. Most recently being there about a month ago. Saw not one but several roaches crawling on the fence wall next to the booth we were sitting in 1 being adult and 2 being babies. I was hanging off the booth seat in fear of them getting on me or my food. Immediately lost my appetite and wasted my food. We have jokingly renamed it the roach motel and will not be back until i am sure they are gone or at least under control.

The girl brought our tea and took our order fairly quick. But didn’t bring our salad bowls , we finally ask another waitress if she would get them. Our waitress never asked if we needed anything and never come back to give me a refill. I went myself and got a to go cup for my wife’s drink. Food was ok, I didn’t like the salad dressing nor the gravy on my hamburger steak. Only thing we really enjoyed was the tea.
