Small town restaurant with pretty good steaks. The steak for 2 is a good deal, you can split it, and each get two sides. I also had the fried shrimp plate. You get 8 shrimp with two sides for around $22, or sub out 1 side for a salad bar trip (one small bowl of salad) for an extra $3.50. The live music is nice! It’s a nice alternative if you don’t want to drive into Tupelo. It’s not a cheap place to eat though at all. It doesn’t compare to Red Lobster or Longhorn in my opinion. Just local grub, nothing fancy, but decent food.

Unbelievably good food in a family friendly atmosphere. We say at a 4-top table with a high chair. The food was delicious, better than home cooking (let's face it, you don't go to a restaurant for home cooked food, you can get that at home). I had the burger which was second to none. Excellent flavor, cooked to perfection, and was so big, I had to take some home. Not a complaint, I got to enjoy it a second time. Definitely excellent service too. If you're in the area, check it out. Fantastic local offering!Kid-friendliness: The restaurant provided high chairs. We always bring our own activities, so I can't comment on their offerings.

I ordered the hamburger steak with potato salad and fried okra. I also ordered fried mushrooms for an appetizer. Everything was delicious. Too much for me to eat at one sitting. I had to get a to go box to enjoy it the next day

This is a great place to take the family for a fish and/or steak dinner. Staff is always very friendly and I personally recommend the steak for two dinner as a lovely date with your SO. Also, the baked potato is fantastic. The decorum is old fashioned, and some places inside could use some sprucing up, but that doesn't take away from the over-all experience, which I always find quite lovely.
