On most days, I love the food at Jack's. I mean, you can't beat their biscuits. Service is normally pretty good. However, every single restaurant is freezing cold. I'm so thankful they have a fireplace going in the middle of summer because that is where I sit, if I go inside. No wonder they rarely have customers who dine in. Went through drive through and immediately was told cash only. I placed my order get to the window, not friendly at all as soon as I pay was told to pull forward, no one was behind me. The young man brought my food out was texting on his cell phone. Just handed me my bag and walked back away, no hospitality.
This Jacks normally always has great service. Today was no exception to that. I tried the bologna biscuit today. They give you an entire piece of thick sliced bologna on your biscuit. Next time I will ask them to fry it a little more, but it was delicious as is. The breakfast staff here is really good most days.
