Whenever I'm in Prentiss, MS I always frequent the Tacklebox, they have the best catfish around. The whole catfish seems to be smaller than I remember but they are delicious nevertheless. ??

Great place to grab some Friday night food. I do wish they had the other chicken tenders that they had when they started, but I'm sure everything is hard to find now. Love the added "home cooking" sides,
The people are super friendly and the food is awesome! Cajun boiled shrimp is the best. They also have some combo plates not listed on the menu, but they are posted in the window.The only disappointment was that they used to do three sides with a meal, now it’s only two. (I’d recommend the baked beans and fried corn, and go get some fries from Ward’s if you need another side!)
