We stopped in because of the 4+ star rating. Also because there were photos of baked chicken in the hopes of a healthier buffet option. This is a whole-in-the-wall place, which usually makes for really good food. If you want mediocre food and you want it fast, this is your place. It's not grandma's cooking unless grandma makes 'okay' food. Most veggies are from a can or there's pre-frozen country fried steak. The desserts are basic grocery store pie. Some cakes may have been house made, but seemed dry. There is a cobbler, but it was basic as well. Here is a list of what I saw:New potatoes- made in housePeas- canned and seasonedCorn- canned, seasoned, a bit dried upMashed potatoes- instantBrown gravy - best guess, canned or made with a powdered mixWhite rice - a bit hard/firm, house madeCatfish - best item on buffet. Seems house madeFried chicken - dry, House madeBaked chicken - rather oily, house madeTurnip greens - cannedCobbler - high school cafeteria styleCornbread -housemade- ehAll in all, if you live in the area, go fo it -once.If you're passing through, skip it.
Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking and bathroom.

Passing through the area for work with my brother. Stopped here and I am happy we did. A nice salad bar. While it may not be the largest buffet, it makes up with very delicious food. My stomach was not big enough to eat the many wonderful looking desserts they had. The banana pudding and pecan pie was delicious. If I am back in the area I would stop in again.

Granted this quaint little buffet does not have the choices of the bigger guys. Do not let that deter you. What they do have is more than enough. I tried almost everything. Fried fish and chicken batters were excellent!!! The beef gravy is always better over mashed potatoes. The corn was sweet, the cornbread was made with buttermilk, at least that's what I tasted, in other words I enjoyed it. The greens were not bitter. Meatballs were good , the stuffing was fresh and just out the oven hot. I also had a salad, many fruit and other salad condiment options . Now the true highlight was the dessert. OMG!! I had a chocolate meringue pie.....mouth still celebrating, also had a piece of a marble multilayered cake that was just as good. I am certainly overstuffed but if it was on my plate I had to eat every bit. Definitely will stop here again!!!

Okay, in the backwoods of Mississippi are all kinds of hidden gems—one being the good ol’ Southern soul food at Williams. It’s really the only deliciousness outside mama’s house in Prentiss, Mississippi, but child, it’s most certainly worth the pretty penny you pay for it. Hot and juicy, home cooked taste, sweet pies, rich gravies, and savory sauces … need I say more? Oh, and it’s family run, so expect some charm and loud talk. Feels like home!

Very good food most staff friendly but ya girl working the register friday the first of april 2022 is rude smart mouth and not good with customers .one in our party paid ahead then we go pay out he tells us he done paid for it .so of course we go back to get our money she was very smart mouth about it not wanting to give us our money he had already paid when he finished eating he showed her who he was paying for yet she still charged us then got mad when we asked for the couple paid back .so that tells me one thing she pockets any extra wont be back as long as shes working that register..we tip our table and wouldve tipped her but shes rude smart mouth needs take classes on dealing with customers
