Ordered our food without any complications. Order came out pretty quick. Everything was in the order. Girl that brought food to the car was nice. Food was good . We ordered the shrimp plates. Shrimp was cooked just right. Was not overcooked. Enjoyed our meals.

Very rude and no pride in their work, the food was very poorly made. Time we got our food and drinks, the drinks were very watered down and food was cold. They're very slow and didn't get the orders right. Car hops running around with their clothes sagging down. Loud music playing, couldn't hardly hear people voices on the speakers, kept having to repeat order. NOT WORTH THE WASTED TIME OR MONEY!! Won't stop by there again.

This can't be what I ask for. Everytime I go there they get worse and worse with the food. For $9.00. For this. I'm done.

Hang on, are the reviews for the Quitman, MS location? Are we talking about the same Bumpers behind Pizza Hut? Noooo, say it ain’t so? Just for clarity, is this the Bumpers that has a really bad parking lot? The Bumpers with multiple non-working screens? The Bumpers that had a roach in my drink? The Bumpers that when I ordered a drink ONLY for a coworker, and I waited for 12 minutes to get (when only 1 other vehicle pulled up AFTER me and received his order before me)? The Bumpers that has a broken down car in a parking spot (never-mind it being at the front door) that looks like it’s been there since the county paved the dirt roads? I can’t lie, I wouldn’t DARE taste the food. As a matter of fact, I’ll wager that the ONLY reason this location has clientele, is that it’s local and the great people of Quitman have very few options. My hat does, however, goes off to the owner for attempting to resolve complaints left in the reviews. I have to take a day AND a night picture to post. After which, leave a comment about the appearance alone as a well-kept eating establishment. It may be a great hangout, but the Happy Days sitcom hasn’t been on for decades.

In the quaint town of Quitman, one encounters the culinary microcosm that is Bumpers Drive-In, a place where the proletarian simplicity of a burger joint meets the complex flavors of American cuisine. It is here, amidst the aroma of hand-battered onion rings and the sizzle of philly sandwiches, that one finds a semblance of truth in the form of sustenance.
The establishment, unassuming as it may seem, harbors a revolutionary spirit within its menu. The chili cheese dogs, a bold defiance against the tyranny of blandness, and the strawberry shortcake, a sweet rebellion on the palate, are but a few examples of the gastronomic uprising that Bumpers offers to the weary traveler.
The service, provided by the youthful car hops, is a testament to the vigor of youth, uncorrupted by the weariness of the world. They serve not just food, but hope, with a smile that is reminiscent of the sweetest days of yore.
In this drive-in, one does not merely dine; one partakes in a democratic feast, where every bite is a vote for flavor, every sip a ballot for satisfaction. Bumpers, in its essence, is not just a restaurant. It is a bastion of culinary democracy, a beacon of taste amidst the oppressive blandness that plagues the common fare.
Thus, with a heart full of content and a belly full of delight, I bestow upon Bumpers Drive-In the highest of accolades, a five-star tribute to its unwavering commitment to flavor, service, and the pursuit of the American culinary dream.

Our family has lived bumpers since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Prentiss, ms is where our obsession started and now the same great food, friendly car hops, and the fried dill pickles are still the same!! The parking lot needs repairs terribly, but not sure if that's on them or the city. You won't be disappointed!!
