“In the quaint town of Quitman, one encounters the culinary microcosm that is Bumpers Drive-In, a place where the proletarian simplicity of a burger joint meets the complex flavors of American cuisine. It is here, amidst the aroma of hand-battered onion rings and the sizzle of philly sandwiches, that one finds a semblance of truth in the form of sustenance.
The establishment, unassuming as it may seem, harbors a revolutionary spirit within its menu. The chili cheese dogs, a bold defiance against the tyranny of blandness, and the strawberry shortcake, a sweet rebellion on the palate, are but a few examples of the gastronomic uprising that Bumpers offers to the weary traveler.
The service, provided by the youthful car hops, is a testament to the vigor of youth, uncorrupted by the weariness of the world. They serve not just food, but hope, with a smile that is reminiscent of the sweetest days of yore.
In this drive-in, one does not merely dine; one partakes in a democratic feast, where every bite is a vote for flavor, every sip a ballot for satisfaction. Bumpers, in its essence, is not just a restaurant. It is a bastion of culinary democracy, a beacon of taste amidst the oppressive blandness that plagues the common fare.
Thus, with a heart full of content and a belly full of delight, I bestow upon Bumpers Drive-In the highest of accolades, a five-star tribute to its unwavering commitment to flavor, service, and the pursuit of the American culinary dream.“

“Amazing customer service, the manager was on her game keeping the team motivated, very kind employees and they were all happy to satisfy the hunger of my family of 5, fast and friendly. Go show them some love and try those amazing chicken ranch wraps.“

“On the road & needed a restroom, we stopped and got a snack while we were there. I was so impressed that the restrooms were clean and service was fast & friendly. The only reason they got 4 stars is because the drink machine only had 2 options available.“

“I stopped by and picked up a to-go order when covering the Quitman-Stone game. Food was cooked well and service was friendly. The burger was absolutely perfect and everything you want out of a burger without being greasy. Even though it was to-go, the bun was not soggy. It came with one side and a drink for about $10. You can’t event get fast food for that cheap anymore. I really enjoyed the old hardware store interior. The antique piano and old receipt books were cool to look at. Would definitely recommend and I’d go out of my way to dine here again!“
