We got there right after five (when the buffet was to start). Lettuce was mostly brown and ranch dressing watered down. The fish that we were told were filets were the cheap strips that tasted fishy. The fried chicken was so dark it looked burnt. No tartar sauce. Everything looked like it had sit since lunch. Maybe lunch is good. I will never find out because not going back. Maybe just a bad night. Should have left when we saw only one couple seated. So disappointed.

We arrived at 1 PM on Sunday for the buffet. Even though they close in an hour, they still had a good selection. Just plain good home-cooked food. Hamburger steak, chicken strips, rice and gravy mashed potatoes and good salads. A good experience under $15 per person. .Vegetarian options: Buffet with salad and vegetables

He did not show up for a confirmed catering date. For a wedding. And then would not respond to any texts, calls,etc. He had been sentenced for DUI and assaulting a police officer but never let the wedding couple know. Scam artist.

Absolutly fabulous steaks always slightly undercooked to your request. In fact probably the best steaks I have ever eaten any where. Totally sucky salad dressings. The salad dressings are so bad its better to not use theirs. Just bring your own. And sad little deserts. But if it wasnt for their terrible sides they could charge so much for the steaks that it would price me out. So I will take the steak as is!!!

Great food and service. Live music on Saturday night. Well worth the stop.Update: Stopped in for Lunch buffet on Friday afternoon on a second trip through Quitman. Good choices and great salad bar. If you're hungry and don't want the usual food, get off Hwy 45 and hit downtown Quitman.

A few weeks ago i gave a horrible review of Chefski’s. Ate here 4/16 Sunday after Church with some Church members.It was a perfect 10 . Food especially the green salad were excellent! Looking back i just think the difference these two times were the food choices. The other week not so good but, this time it was excellent! When eating out I’ve always said is a hit & miss type situation ! However, this time it was a big time hit!Well pleased!Vegetarian options: Great green salad & vegetables!Kid-friendliness: All were well behaved in a good environment!Parking: Had 2 sides of street to park! It was no problem!

We ordered a 12 oz ribeye medium rare. We got well done and about half of the steak was fat. After cutting away the fat there was maybe 6 oz of meat cooked not to our specifications. The soup was cold and no crackers were offered or available. The salad was ok and they charged us for ice water in a glass. We drove 50 miles because it was a birthday supper. We will not go back.
