My main complaint is with the breakfast. The biscuits are always so hard and dry. I thought they were supposed to be soft and fluffy, airy almost, but every morning the top and bottom feels stiff as a board while the food in the middle is cooked to perfection. I don't know how that happens, but might want to turn the heat down on the biscuits. Light and airy is what you want, not hard and dry.

I suggest this spot for breakfast or lunch as a quick meal over the McDonald's down the street from here.The people are always kind. Plenty of Unsweet Tea. Food is always fresh and well packaged. You don't have to turn around for napkins or condiments.

OK, if you want gourmet food, go to the French Quarter-and pay $50 a plate...but for good Americana food---burgers, fries, o-rings, and sodas, this is a really nice place. My last visit to Quitman (abt 3 months ago), my meal got to me reasonably fast, at a good price, was fixed exactly as ordered, and tasted great! Keep up the good work!

My sister and I stopped in Quitman, MS on the way to Dauphin Island to gas up and eat. We saw the Hardee’s and pulled in. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, making us feel so welcome. The night manager brought our food to our table, along with all of the condiments, napkins, etc, and even gave us an order of fries, in the house.The burgers were very good, as well as the shake and fries. There’s still nothing like that old southern hospitality. Thanks y’all!
