It was just ok. There's no flavor to the meat and BBQ sauce taste like water was added to maybe sweet baby Ray's or something cheap. I had the rib tips and they didn't taste good. They was just ok. Nothing special to brag about.

I'm a fairly frequent customer, and agree with one of the other customer's reviews that sometimes you can get juicy, just-right ribs, and then other times, ehh!? Same thing with their wings. Their pork sausage links used to be very good, but I ordered the pork sausage dog @ 3 weeks ago, and it was NOT good. I called back and asked if there was something different about the sausage, and the woman told me they had 'changed vendors.' When I called today, I asked if they were still using the same vendor that provided the pork sausage from 3 weeks ago, and she said she did not know, but that they were using 'Country Pleasin' brand sausage. I asked if I could get a sample of the sausage before purchase, and she said they did not do that. I didn't understand the reasoning behind that, but I did not want to chance wasting my money again! I wound up ordering the burger for my husband, which is extremely huge and the meat is somewhat 'grainy' for my taste.

It’s plenty of barbecue places around Mississippi. If I had to choose it’ll still be Sylvester’s, I’ve tried several spots and I can tell you the difference. You want some good food with no sauce already added this id the place to go. Get sauce in the side and really taste the food. It’s a difference. Been going here for several years now. Sausage dog, ribs, wings sides.. it don’t matter what you get, the food is good.. See for yourself..

went to pick up a phone order, ordered me a basket too. the ribs had been so juicy and good before were dry this go round and something smelled off, I think it was the bag or bread. no sides w it just bread and meat, 2 for $25.

I needed this barbecue in my life!! Fries could have cooked a little longer but everything was good. I'm not sure if they offer sauce on the meat. I would have preferred mine sauced up instead of on the side.

The lady who takes the orders was rude and unprofessional and I will not be back! I was in the wrong line and did not know it!! It costs nothing to create a sign that lets people know there are two lines! That is not all you handle customers who are trying to support your business!
