It was just ok. There's no flavor to the meat and BBQ sauce taste like water was added to maybe sweet baby Ray's or something cheap. I had the rib tips and they didn't taste good. They was just ok. Nothing special to brag about.
I'm a fairly frequent customer, and agree with one of the other customer's reviews that sometimes you can get juicy, just-right ribs, and then other times, ehh!? Same thing with their wings. Their pork sausage links used to be very good, but I ordered the pork sausage dog @ 3 weeks ago, and it was NOT good. I called back and asked if there was something different about the sausage, and the woman told me they had 'changed vendors.' When I called today, I asked...
It’s plenty of barbecue places around Mississippi. If I had to choose it’ll still be Sylvester’s, I’ve tried several spots and I can tell you the difference. You want some good food with no sauce already added this id the place to go. Get sauce in the side and really taste the food. It’s a difference. Been going here for several years now. Sausage dog, ribs, wings sides.. it don’t matter what you get, the food is good.. See for yourself..
