What a disappointment, the fried green tomatoes were delicious but then it went down hill. The tuna was over cooked and the salad was huge but no substance. Wine overpriced . Shrimp etouffee was tasty though.

Great restaurant for lunch. It is in a Natchez Under the Hill historic building. The shrimp & lobster bisque was fantastic. I wish I had gotten a bowl instead of a cup! Stephanie was great and gave us excellent service. She also provided great tips on what to do during our limited stay. Thanks Stephanie! We would eat here again.

The menu is not up to date online, expect to pay more and different ingredients. I got the shrimp magnolia and it adds mushrooms and there is no garlic nor any flavor. Shrimp are not fresh. Waitress was too busy to bring silverware and the salad was not even cut properly. She was busy talking at the bar and sitting with locals. When we had been finished for a while she finally came around and before removing our dinner plates and seeing if we wanted to bring a half plate of food remaining home she rushed us through to desert. She honestly made us feel unwelcome and the treatment of tourists who will never be back. Hostess couldn’t walk us to the ranks just nodded with her head to where our table was. Very inhospitable restaurant. Go to the Castle instead!

Great view of river bend, excellent service, love the lunch menu. My favorite appetizer is Fried Green Tomatoes w crawfish Remolaude. Generous servings. The entree’s have something for anyone. I usually choose grilled fish . Stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat are great, too

Rang this restaurant to reserve a table I was told that they don’t take reservations but the waiting time was approximately 25mins. We drove straight down to the restaurant entered the restaurant and the FOT person said that there was a list and that was about 1/2hr, when I mentioned that I’d actually rang up 20mins earlier and hadn’t actually been told there was a list I could have been put on. She was most helpful and found us the next available table. Our waitress was very helpful and we ordered a starter to share, 1/2 way though our staters are main course arrives this really is a American habit that my husband and I can’t get our heads around. Also the newest thing is putting the cost of using a credit card!!! on your bill 4% in this restaurant. The food is very good and lots of it.

Delicious Hibachi, great service and reasonable prices. This was our first time dining here, and we look forward to returning.

We arrived about 1:30pm just after the lunch rush. You could tell they had been busy. We were seated at a table, ordered our drinks then our meal. The food was wonderful and so were the drinks the only issue was one of the waitresses took a break, got herself a beer and drank it at a table in the dining area (she was also talking across the room to her co-workers loudly). After her beer break she went back to work. The other issue was a worker had to have her child at work ( the child was probably 3) and sat her on a bar stool at the bar. Not sure of the bar area laws in Mississippi but there could be a better place. The food was wonderful and we will return.

This restaurant is in a great location Natchez under the hill , over looking the Mississippi River - we were grateful the restaurant was open as on Sunday on Labor Day most of the other restaurant in Natchez were closed. Service and food were very good, Was also a nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

I had the blackened tuna salad and it was incredible, memorably good. I can’t wait to come back. I’d like to try new things, but the Tuna was so good I don’t know that I will. French Onion soup was pretty great as well. Awesome view in the sunroom. Everything that came by our table on the way to others looked great!

When we arrived at the Magnolia Grill they we’re very busy and I was afraid it would take forever. Much to my surprise they got us in, the service was fast and the food was delicious. We ordered the mahi mahi special and it was wonderful. They also have a great bread pudding.

Great place to eat. Highly recommend it , staff great and the food is wonderful. I would recommend driving on down to the restuarant as there is parking there. It doesn;t look like it when you are driving there but there is. Saves you a long walk uphill after eating a wonderful meal.

Crowded, long wait, parking is difficult. But this restaurant is just a few feet from the edge of the Mississippi River. If you're lucky you get a table with a wonderful view. Service was good, the waitress was excellent, food was good, not cheap but not real expensive.

My husband had the étouffée & I had the grilled shrimp and veggies. The étouffée had the perfect amount of heat, the shrimp also had some nice flavor. We sat at the bar and Hannah took great care of us.
