Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I have not even received my order yet. Upon arriving I had to stand for several minutes as their was no hostess and the manager literally looked at men and called someone rather than me herself considering there were lots of places for me to sit and they had no wait. Upon being fitted I am told the machine for fries chicken is broken and they do not have mashed potatoes and gravy. Then my drinks come and both glasses are grittybut my food did arrive timely but not as hot as I would have expected. This will be my last time visiting this particular cracker barrel, fortunately I know cracker barrel can do a lot better My waiter was probably my only bright spot and bc of her i gave 3 stars on service.

Had a fantastic brunch date with my bestie for the bestie! My 🍓 cheesecake 🥞 's were absolutely fabulous. Great service so see Chloe she's a great waitress. #riannajonesandme 🤟🙏🙌🏹😍

Corporate did reach out regarding my review. While I appreciate the response, this experience was part of a pattern over several visits involving limited food availability, long wait times, and lack of in-store resolution. I hope the Tupelo location addresses these ongoing concerns quickly.

I used to love, love Cracker Barrel, which is why this is so disappointing.
We’ve eaten at the Cracker Barrel in Tupelo, MS several times recently, and each visit has been worse due to them being out of food. We gave it one last chance yesterday, but nothing had improved.

I ordered the Grandma’s Sampler and they were out of grits and ham. My sister ordered chicken strips, they were out. My husband ordered eggs, tomatoes, fruit, and grits they were out of the tomatoes and grits. When his fruit cup did arrive, it only had 3–4 small pieces of fruit.

We were polite and understanding each time the waitress told us items weren’t available. The last time she returned, the manager (we assumed it was the manager) came with her to apologize, but no discount or compensation was offered, even though we didn’t order substitutes.

To make matters worse, the restaurant was freezing. In the middle of winter, the fireplace was not on, and the ceiling fans were running. Cracker Barrel used to feel warm, cozy, and homey — this visit felt anything but that.

Very disappointing. We won’t be returning.

Horrible experience, our order was wrong & then things went downhill from there. Should have read the reviews. The manager came to our table, I thought to help but she was rude and no help. Won't be back.

Went for dinner after work placed my order then i was told they had to defrost the turkey and would take an extra 30 min, i said ok, when i finally got my food it was the smallest serving of turkey and dressing ive ever seen, i asked for the manager he never came to my table. I got up and walked out. Do not eat here ever it is poor quality and the manager is even worse

To start it’s 1pm on a Saturday. We had a party of 11. Was told the wait would be 25-30 minutes. We waited 25 minutes, went to check to see if a table was available and was told it would’ve another 45 minutes. We could see into the dining room and saw our table available and was told it still wasn’t ready.
Took 30 minutes to even get our drink order. We made sure to order our food when we ordered drinks so that we didn’t have to wait for our waitress to come back. When we got our drinks we were told they were out of sweet tea and had to make more. The Dr. Pepper was AWFUL. Was told the machine was broke.
When our food came out, my mother in law had ordered a chicken salad and she was brought a salad with a piece of chicken on the side instead of strips on the salad.

Very disappointed with the service!!!!!!!

Waitress had a don't care attitude. Had to ask for biscuits that came with the food. Didn't ask if we needed refills. I think she was just tired and ready to go home

There were 4 of us. Our waitress (I have her name) was the worse waitress that I have ever had. We waited 15 minutes, no waitress. Finally another waitress passing by asked if she could help us. She said that she would go find our waitress. Our waitress finally showed up. She took our whole order and left. When we got our drinks and biscuits my plate was dirty. (I have a picture of it) I had to eat on my napkin. We had to ask for straws and extra napkins. While waiting for our food, our waitress got into an heated argument with another waitress because she was waiting on two ladies that had been seated next to us by the lady up front. These two ladies were sitting there having to listen to our waitress arguing over something that should have never taken place. Our food came. One order of scrambled eggs, the white was running out of the eggs. One order of grits that had been ordered as an extra was not delivered. The waitress argued that it didn’t come with the order and we told her that it was ordered specifically as an extra. Still no straws or extra napkins. We had to ask for our tickets. I had to wait on a to go box and when our waitress came with the box, she said that she was sorry for what happened earlier, but that she had to have her lunch.
I recommended this restaurant to my friends because I have eaten there many times with good service and good food, but this was enough to question my going back.
