We ordered from the local house on a whim. We’re staying in Tupelo for the weekend and the menu sounded good. We had it delivered and we ordered the ribeye dinner to share. I would absolutely recommend. I ordered a rare steak and received a perfectly rare streak seasoned very well( we’re in a hotel and didn’t think to grab cutlery, I was able to cut this steak with my PLASTIC knife) . I’m not sure how the roll was made but it was wonderfully toasty and chewy and soft, everything you want in a roll. We also had Mac and cheese and baked sweet potato. Both were done well, if I’m going to nitpick I would have liked the Mac to have some black pepper but I added it myself and wasn’t upset about it, it was creamy with a great cheese to noodle ratio. It was huge portions we split it between two people and both had plenty, my only suggestion is order a second roll. Trust me you will not want to share. We’ll definitely order again next time we’re in town!

A group of five family members ate at the LOCAL on July 4 th and food was all amazing! The Boom Boom Shrimp was my choice with onion rings and it was cooked to perfection. Others ordered the Hamburger with fries and reported that it was huge and so very tasty. Another ate the Philly Steak with fries and begged for more of the tasty fries! It was packed so service was slower which was expected. All in all, we shall return to eat at the LOCAL again!

steak meicore.Burgers definitely A NO. 5 year old and 8 year old wouldn't even eat it. shrimp po boy mediocre. Fried green tomatoes were GOOD.. JUST GOOD. Pasta medicore. wouldn't order again but was OKAY. The Roll was the best thing we had. We spent over $100 for just that and nothing ŵas GREAT.

The best food I have ever put in my mouth, wish I could eat here every day, the blackened catfish over grits is where it’s at! The boom boom shrimp just melts in your mouth. Definitely the best food in Saltillo!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, food is delicious, very reasonably priced. My favorites are the steak tips, grilled veggies and the salad bar. The white chocolate bread pudding is devine. They have wonderful plate lunches Tuesday- Friday & Sunday's with 1 meat, 2 sides, drink and dessert. I highly recommend visiting The Local House!

Have not had a bad meal here. Every single entree is absolutely delicious.
Parking: Later in the evening parking can be tight. Early there is plenty of room

I went hear the other day and set on the patio, It was really nice, service was very good. Today I went after church and let a waitress know I was out their. I waited for 30 minutes and decided I wasn't going to get waited on. I stop by the desk at the door and told the young lady what happen and that I would be leaving now, so I can't tell you how the plate lunches are . Very disappointed!
