It's taken me 2 weeks to decide if I wanted to post or not, but here it is. We had been out helping with clean up after a storm in town. My wife called Jacks BBQ like we always have. The card machine was down, which is understandable due to the weather. I paid in cash of corse and received my change. I was fiscally exhausted and simply miscounted my change. We agreed I was wrong, and I apologized and explained. When I received my food and walked away, I heard the lady at the window tell the next person in line that it takes a lot more to trick her then that. That being said ma'am I made the mistake, not you, and I apologized. If I was trying to get over on you or anyone else, it definitely wouldn't be over 5 dollars. I finally got to set down to eat, and my ribs were burnt and couldnt chew the ribs. May of had two bits of meat on the. This wasn't the first time this happened, and it made it really easy to make my mind up. Thanks for the few years of serving us great BBQ, but 2 weeks ago would be my last.

Let's just say that I'm a bIg fan of barbecue being from Memphis and I know BBQ.So after my two hour drive I found out the folks from Jack's didn't come here play . Everything I ordered from the ribs , pulled pork, and banana pudding was good.

Well, I finally tried this place out. I decided to try the Jack Dog. It’s advertised as a polish sausage. If it is, it’s as cheap as you can get. It was a hot dog with peppers, onions, mustard, and slaw. I was not impressed at all with this. This reminded me of the Bar S brand polish sausage that is basically a big hot dog. My bun was mushy and coming apart. This made it very hard to pick up and eat like you want to. We also tried the whole wings. They were cold when we opened them, which was immediately after we pulled off. We took them home and heated them up to eat them. They tasted fine. I intended on ordering them without the bbq sauce, but I forgot. The sauce was good. The atmosphere was nice, and the owner was very friendly. Cool spot off the beaten path. I will try the ribs next time.
