Great country outing with family if you choose to go, fish filets are a little larger but very tasty, a plate of 2 filets will satisfy your appetite for the evening.

The food was just ok...but I've definitely had better. Worst part of it was that we sat there for nearly an hour waiting for our food. we finally just paid for the drinks hush puppies and slaw and left...we will go to Boondock Eddie's from now on...

If you’re in the area, and can afford it, try it out. If do jot live in the area, you’re not
Missing anything.
A while ago, another fish house (40 mile vicinity) opened up. It has a mirror image menu and even serves hush puppies with cheese. Similar to Guthrie and Raising Canes issue.
Better than the other place:
Hushpuppies pair better with the cheese sauce
Fried fish tastes better
They leave a pitcher of water at your table
Restaurant is cleaner
Sells cotton blues cheesecake and other to go desserts.
Three servings of fries were cold during different parts of the meal. I understand fresh food and not using heat lamps, however, I would rather a heat lamp with, at a minimum warm food, than cold. Unless you dip them into the cheese sauce, Hushpuppies have a salty taste. There’s nothing chopped or added; it’s literally a ball of cornmeal batter fried. They, came out lukewarm. Using butter does not help them. The cheese sauce helps elevate the hush puppy.
The shrimp and catfish platter was cooked throughout. BUT for the price? Not worth it. Wait in the world was this portion? Unless this is Jordan’s Kid Portion Fish Camp….
The “All you can eat”: after you eat your first 3 fish, and the second portion (2 fish), it takes an average of 6 minutes to get another filet. Waiting while your fish is caught, skinned, and cooked- you’re still hungry! So you either have the option of coleslaw or Hushpuppies to eat. This makes you less full, and eat less fish. You don’t get your moneys worth in the AYCE.
I wouldn’t make a trip here if you have decent seafood around. Unless you are completely bored or your friend is driving and paying. There is not many restaurants in the area which can bring a 2 star to a 4 quick.
There’s a reason this was the first established fish house around, their fish is cooked better and the service is friendlier. But the price, their game in the “AYCE”, and temperature of the food is sub par.

Alright, folks, let me tell you about this cosmic journey I embarked on at Jordan's Fish Camp. It was like diving into the depths of the ocean and discovering a treasure trove of flavors that I never knew existed. The moment I stepped into this place, I felt like I was transported to another dimension where the catfish reign supreme and the hush puppies are the currency of the realm.
The atmosphere? It's like being in an underwater kingdom, where every table is a submarine window to the culinary abyss of deliciousness. And the staff, they're like the friendly dolphins guiding you through the experience, ensuring you're well taken care of.
Now, let's talk about the food. The All You Can Eat Catfish Platter? It's like catching a wave of savory sensations that just keeps rolling in, one after another, each bite more enlightening than the last. And those hush puppies with cheese sauce? Imagine your taste buds being gently caressed by the tentacles of a flavor kraken, each suckling morsel a burst of cheesy, deep-fried ecstasy.
But wait, there's more. The Fried Catfish and Fries? It's like the universe itself crafted this dish out of stardust and sea salt, each fillet a celestial body orbiting the sun of your palate. And the Popcorn Shrimp Platter? It's a meteor shower of crunchy, golden, bite-sized delights raining down from the heavens.
In this place, every dish is a journey, every flavor a discovery. It's not just eating; it's an exploration of the culinary cosmos. And just like a DMT trip, you come out of it transformed, with a new perspective on what seafood can be.
So, if you're ever cruising through the galaxy and find yourself in the vicinity of State Line, Mississippi, do yourself a favor and dock your spaceship at Jordan's Fish Camp. It's an interstellar experience that's out of this world – five stars, hands down.
Parking: Whoa, let me take you on a trip through the cosmic parking lot of Jordan's Fish Camp. It's like navigating through the astral plane, man. You pull up and it's like entering a new dimension where the physical realm of cars and the spiritual world of seafood bliss merge into one.
The parking there? It's not just a space, it's a launchpad for your taste adventure. You're not just parking your car; you're docking your soul ship in preparation for a journey into the flavor nebula. And the best part? It's as vast as the universe and as welcoming as an alien embrace. You glide into your spot with the ease of a spacecraft touching down on a distant planet, ready to explore the unknown depths of catfish and hush puppies.
And let me tell you, the moment your feet hit the ground, you can feel the energy, the vibe of a place that's more than just a fish camp. It's a portal to a higher plane of dining, where every meal is a transcendental experience, and the parking? It's just the beginning of what's sure to be an otherworldly expedition.
So, if you're looking to embark on a culinary journey that's out of this world, start with the parking at Jordan's Fish Camp. It's the first step into a larger, more delicious universe. ???
Kid-friendliness: Alright, let me break it down for you, Jordan's Fish Camp is like the ultimate dojo for the little warriors. It's not just kid-friendly, it's kid-celebrated! They've got this vibe that's as welcoming as a jiu-jitsu gym full of friendly sparring partners.
You walk in, and it's like stepping into a family reunion where everyone's invited. The kids? They're treated like the champs they are, with a menu that's got more hits than a heavyweight title fight. We're talking chicken bites so tender, they'll make you question reality. It's like these bites have been

The food is not good like it used to be. When you call in you have to wait and the food be cold a waist. I used to love Jordan 's but they need to step their game up
This is the second time that I've been here and the food taste and quality has declined. I ordered the Seafood Platter with a whole catfish. The fish, oysters and shrimp were greasy and had a weird taste. It seems the oil it was cooked in was old. The wait staff were pleasant and attentive. The floors and bathrooms were filthy. The is the second and last time I will patronize this place.

First time visit on 4/6 for a late lunch, after wanting to visit for over a year now….and it exceeded all of my expectations! Having visited every fish camp in MS, this is absolutely my favorite! I noticed the Food Inspection “A” rating on the wall…..which is always great to see for starters ? The restaurant was easy to find, very clean, prompt service, and the food was incredible! Our fried catfish filets were hot and fresh, perfectly fried and not greasy, plus they were large filets. Both the coleslaw and homemade hush puppies were the best I’ve ever eaten! The fried shrimp were large, and perfectly cooked as well. We were so stuffed from our late lunch we didn’t have room for dessert, but desserts looked amazing as well. We will try them next time. Instead of driving further inland from the Gulf Coast to other fish camps, we have certainly found our new favorite!!!! We look forward to driving back very soon!

The food is great and we didn't have to wait long for a table. The waitress came over quickly to take our order and was quick to bring our drinks, coleslaw, and hushpuppies. However, our meal took almost an hour to come from the kitchen after we ordered it. The restaurant was busy, and there were a couple of large parties in the other room, but an hour is a really long time to sit and wait for a meal (especially if there ate young children in your party). Also, sound echos a lot in the dining room, so sometimes it is loud, and hard to hold conversations with the people sitting at the table with you.
