A coworker and I came to eat here while on a job in the area last week and it was among the best barbecue I've ever had. Had the brisket sandwich, which was massive and delicious, along with the baked beans and potato salad, which were equally delicious. It was so good that we went back this week, this time getting the pulled pork sandwich. Service was wonderful and staff is friendly. I highly recommend if you like barbecue!

We were passing through and needed a place to eat supper. I’m so glad we stopped at Lu’s. My son loved the pulled pork sandwich and my husband loved the smoked chicken. I got the brisket and it was delicious. We were beyond stuffed when we left.

Being very generous by giving this place 2 stars. The very tough 16 oz rib eye wasn’t fit fo a $10 steak night at a VFW…Where do these 5 star reviews come from? Honest reviews would have saved me an expensive trip to the boondocks! One rare positive: a very friendly wait staff!

Outstanding brisket. Delicious creme brulee. Friendly, fast service.
Food is authentic and yummy. Ordered the 2 meat plate and the meats were room temp while other stuff was hot, brisket was great, very very oily though.
