On June 14, the Cafe provided a great dinner after our graveside memorial service for Duane Hunt. Tina accepted my request to host a dinner at the Cafe and Penney and her awesome staff pulled it off to perfection. What a wonderful place to meet up with friends or family and enjoy a local place for a meal and meet many others from around town. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is great! Our daughter recently got married at a venue in Sturgis and we ordered food for the wedding party to snack on and eat throughout the day. Everyone loved the home cooking and the ranch dressing was the best we will be back to eat at this little café. We had considered driving into Starkville, but so glad that we didn’t because the food was better at the Sturgis Café!

Love the food especially their catfish fillets and fried mushrooms but my only complaint is I wish they were open on Sunday too bc I don't like cooking on Sundays and it's easier to just order something and go pick it up. I keep thinking their open for a little while on Sunday and was excited to go get a chicken sandwich but went to call and forgot they're closed on Sunday. Guess I'll drive to Starkville bc DG doesn't have anything good really food wise. :) please do at least a lunch or dinner service on Sundays so people can come after church and have a nice hot delicious meal.
Best burger that I have eaten. The workers was very nice and made me feel at home. This is how much I like it I’ll be driving 2 hours to get another burger very soon
