Enjoyed lunch with my brother. His first trip. It was a success indeed. The service was not the best. I had to beg for our check.
The food was fine .. Not to be ugly , good but nothing spectacular. The service though, was horrible! I should say.. no service. We got our drinks, then our food , then never a single other time did our waitress come back . I finally got up and got the to go boxes thinking that would prompt her return, which it did not. Sumner Grille is a small town restaurant with great service and atmosphere. They offer a delicious cheeseburger that's a must-try. Note that they allow BYO wine and liquor, but may have limited menu items and payment options, including cash or Venmo, so it's best to ask in advance. Despite some limitations, the restaurant is a gem worth visiting, especially for its platelunches and mouthwatering cheeseburger made with love.
