Stopped in for lunch. The place was packed. All homemade cuisine. I tried the "Philly Cheese steak" with fries. Being from that area, I was disappointed with this sammich. I only requested onions on it, no peppers. The order was to go. Their cheese used was cheddar, which does not come on a Philly Steak. Philly cheese is served with either melted Velveeta or provolone, mozzarella. Trust me, there are soo many versions of this sammich, but if you advertise a "Philly...
All I can say is wow! This is one awesome small town restaurant/grill. I was talking with a guy and he recommended the burger called 5 napkin, I added an egg, when they brought that monster out I was in awe. Very good food and a nice friendly service and homely atmosphere. We'll be back for sure. 3 thumbs up for Gitano Grill !!!
I stopped by Gitano Grill restaurant and bakery a couple days ago and I am so glad I did! They made the most amazing roast beef sandwich!!!! And the chess squares are absolutely divine! Every bite was so mouthwateringly delicious!
I had no idea this place is so amazing! And by the way, the prices are excellent. Many say, “It’s the best kept secret in Jones county.”
